  1. Thainstone market has a stall that sells all the old console games for cheap i think pretty much all titles they have go for 5, i would say that would be your best bet... coz fuck paying 25 for N64 games from Gamestation!!!!
  2. what i do to record onto my PC is to just plug my sennheiser e840 mic (99) straight into the mic input on my soundblaster audigy 7.1 soundcard that only cost me 17 from www.ebuyer.com and then i use cubase SX to enable me t0 record both audio and midi tracks its fairly straight forward stuff i think u can download a trial version of cubase online though i couyld be wrong its fairly expensive to buy new cubase costs around 300!!!! if its just vocals and acoustic guitar u could do this with a windows own recorder program but this only allows u to record one track so u would have to sing and play at same time and find an even balance for the mic to pick up both vocals and the guitar.... cubase is definetly the way to go if u are serious about PC recording....
  3. heres my guitar gear... Marshall JCM 2000 triple super lead 100w 3 channel head Laney 4x12 angled cab Tokai Love Rock LS85Q see thru red (better than any gibson lester thas for sure) Ibanez RG7420 & string with Floyd Rose Tremelo... Very basic rig just the way i like it!!! (heres a pic of it all) tho that les paul in the pic is the old tokai i had to get another sent out from tokai as that 1 had a fault in the finish.... the replacement one is a nicer color.....
  4. these guys make awesome 7 and 8 string guitars but they are hella expensive tho... http://www.conklinguitars.com/ i have a 7 string ibanez RG7420... they are a lot better than tuning a 6 string down IMO... ibanez also have budget 7 strings like the RG7321 which is a fixed bridge model, and they only cost like 250 or thereabouts.... 8 strings is a bit over the top tho...
  5. dude im all in favour of valve amps.... a 25 watt tube amp will sound jsut as loud as a 50watt transistor amp... i have a jcm2000tsl 100 watt marshall 3 channell valve head with a laney 4x12... and i find it really hard to get any kinda nice tone out of any solid state amp these days.... valve tone is the way to go... why not get this sweet lil amp instead http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?StockCode=EG00829 p.s i used to work in a guitar store... and we stocked the avt marshall range.... and well they sounded ok at low volume but when u cranked them out like u would for a live venue they sounded fuzzy as hell and there was no clarity in the sound.... look around for a nice little 2x12 marshall or laney all valve amp instead of going solidstate or hybrid(like avt series) dude.... u willl be far more satisfied with valves...
  6. if i had the cash id take that thing in a flash .... my friend has the latest korg synth its called "triton pro" and if the trinity is anything like the triton then its one crazy ass synth.... shame i dont have 450 spare.... im sure u will get it sold at that asking price... have u tried advertising in the scot-ads???? ill ask some of my friends to see if they are interested...
  7. paf 7s.... same as the korn signature model k-7s.... they sound a hell of a lot better than the stock v7 and v8 pups she had in it to start with..... also i chipped away all the paint the very first day i bought the guitar coz i hated the colour... i ordered the guitar off the net from www.axemail.com and the pic that they had on their site showed the guitar as a fire orangey sortta colour and it was the only place i could find that had this model available as it is a discontinued model so i bought it and when i recevied it i opened the box to find out that it was a pinky colour and i never wanted to send it back coz i wouldnt b able to get another one so i just modified it with chips and stickers.... it gives the guitar some character... i have always ment to get it resprayed with flip paint or pearlescent paint... but have never got round to doing so.... dont suppose anyone else is interested in buying it???? i would also be willing to swap it for an epiphone les paul custom.... it has to be a custom not a standard as i have already got a tokai love rock which IMO is far better than gibson les pauls... and it only cost me 899 instad of 1200 for a gibson
  8. i've got 1 in my back pocket
  9. hi, anybody looking for a compitent lead guitarist to join their band?? my influences are led zep, black sabbath, ac/dc, ozzy, zakk wylde, slash, etc etc.... i am fairly compitent at writing my own stuff to.... anybody interested gimme a call on 07779570652 or send me an email to rg7@hotmail.co.uk thanks Fae Dav
  10. stomp boxes is definetly the way to go.... multi fx sound to processed IMO... u get a much nicer, natural sound from seperate fx boxes that u would with multi effects.
  11. pauls right... gettin your p/ups wax potted will cancel out any unwanted feedback.... the best thing for u to do is to get ur new axe to a guitar tech(im not to sure but r+b may have a tech that does setups) and get him to wax pot ur pups that will sort out yer prob bro...
