Just because a band became big around the Nu-Metal time doesn't mean their Nu-Metal, Machine Head are thrash full stop! Drowning Pool, Godsmack, and Slipknot were probably playing gigs long before Nu-Metal was even invented! Nu-Metal is pretty much EMO! And EMO is the biggist pile of shit I've ever seen!!!!!!!

What is wrong with the music scene in Aberdeen? I went to Cafe Drummonds last night to see the top quality band T.R.I.B.E No one could be bothered to turn up, I traveled 50 miles to see them, surely you toonzers could make the effort. It was only 2 to get in, and you missed a cracking band.

Aye! they were from Turriff, I knew Duwayn the bass player quite well. I've got there demo kicking about somewhere. The last time I saw him he was in a punk band touring with GBH I think.

I've got 2 guitars, the Gibson and a BC Rich Warlock, and believe it or not I prefer the BC Rich for playing. Its a real Heavymetal guitar. I've had it for 13 years, and i've spent a few getting it setup properly, and would rather keep it.

Thanks alot! I was giving up on Aberdeen, Its good to hear someone having something to say. I dont know what the metal scene is like there now, but it used to be brilliant. I would go through all the time to watch bands like Korpse or Inextremis, and bigger bands like Paradise Lost, Bolt Thrower, and Cancer It seems people would rather go to a night club and listen to records being played intsead of going to see a live band these days.
