  5. i do not like them. this is my opinion. end
  6. oh lord no. they would really ruin my night for sure.
  7. links for the support bands please. severe lack of hardcore bands in aberdeen
  8. legalising drugs would be silly, it would just bring the price down and it would be seen as socially acceptable. dont think that because we know its bad for us that we wouldnt take/use it. cigarettes anyone? alcohol?
  9. and im not bagging aberdeen, im just being sensible.
  10. so surely it would make more sense to do a proper release (album? ep?) for the best bands then, with the money. no offence, but whats the point in filler?
  11. it just looks like it would be a waste of time, unless the bands are recording a proper song for it and could use it elsewhere. otherwise, its pointless just bunging a song off your myspace onto a comp. bands should save up, record a proper e.p or something then send it out and try and 'get signed' if thats what you want. if a demo wont get you 'the deal' then a song on a comp certainly wont. how about using the money (for the comp) to pay for local bands to record proper songs and release them???
  12. hmm, how many people have been handed a free comp cd at a gig, in the street, etc and actually listened to it? i bet a lot of people take them as an act of kindness, or because theyll just dump in the collection of free cds everyone has at home. all the bands clamouring to get on the cd should just send their demos to said radio stations/producers/labels themselves. you know, DIY.
