  1. hahaha... this is exactly the same arguement that was going round in the '80s regarding Fenders. The '80s Fenders were poorly regarded compared to those made by the company 20 or so years before during the '60s The one you've just settled on is from the bunch we thought were poor in the '80s
  2. Thought it was quite good to see somebody local getting their demo featured in the April edition of Sound on Sound (page 266). OK the band/backing got a bit of a slating, but they liked her voice.. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/apr05/audio/AmySawers.mp3 Anybody know if she is on the boards here ?
  3. Do you mean DJ mixing of 2 or 3 simultaneous sources' date=' or mixing different components of a track into a final stereo file ? If its DJ mixing there is Dekstacy [url']http://www.sonophile.com./ which is free (OSX only) Most folks are using NI Traktor, or Stanton Final Scratch, but these aren't free.. Steinberg Nuendo 2 is probably the best for multitrack mixing, although its not free either.. You can do a reasonable job in Cubase.. and I guess since you've already got it, it will be a good bit better than any shareware/freeware app and not cost any more dosh..
  4. Hey, sounds like we have similar interests.. get in touch, up for remixing some of your tracks if you are interested.
