Yeah they've still got big rauri on violin, thier stuff is a bit more poppy than it used to be but it still should be a good show, lets just hope they get a crowd!

Red Sirus a melodic post rock(ish) band from sunny ballymena, northern ireland are playing in drummonds this monday(1st of may). They have supported the likes of explosions in the sky, snow patrol (when they were good) and gorky's zygotic mynci. Also my first band played with them when i was 14, therefore they must be good! Hugh returned to tunnels after he had gone for some post sound check dinner, to find his band is not there. Hugh remembers that they have gone to the prince of wales and finds them huddled in a corner with Mr Niall Slater. "We've made a few changes to the set list" they say. "Oh?" says Hugh. "We're going to play Loughshore first" they declare. "Oh" says Hugh. "And were going to play Almost Parallel". "Oh, have i ever played that before?" asks Hugh. "No you haven't but its the one that Steven sings 'down' [with Norn Irish accent] in" say the band. "Ah!?" says Hugh. Good Gig!! Hugh
