Alot of bassists use them e.g John Myung form Dream Theater uses one. I have played one when i went over to america. Theyr super hard to play but the technique is the same as tapping on hte bass.

Firstly id like to say sorry to anyone who went to see Weeping Jesus and got 10 mins of music from us, It was due to a certain band who will remain nameless. But what did you guys think of the gig? I didnt see the first band but the second band (dunno there name) were fuckin rockin, realy solid set, realy got into the music, i thought they fuckin ruled. The third band were cool as well. They were something different, cool experemental stuff. RaR not my kind of thing but alot of people enjoyed there set and they are obviously good at what they do.

We get some food go back and have a few beers and watch the other bands.

Does anyone know anything about the bands playing? i listened to the RAR mp3 and it seems its going to be a varied line up...

Element 106 and filthpackt are the most entertaning local bands iv seen.

Just a thought. This has probibly been asked 1000 times, but, if i gave you a cd with the playlist would you put it in the jukebox? Saves you buyin the cds.

I didnt leave to be a dickhead or to show any disrespect to the other bands, i stayed as long as i could and i left because i had to and there was no other way around it.

Id rather get home and sleep in my own bed when i have to get up at 7.00 to go to work rather than sleep on the streets or on someones sofa in town and even if i did do that i still couldnt get back for work. you dont know my reasons for leaving, you dont know my bus time and i dont even like ska music. You probibly dont like some of the bands i listen to and wouldnt go out of you way to see them.

Why would you stay to see a band that you dont want to see? Mabye some people had busses to get, mabye some people only went to see a one of the support bands. Just because someone is supporting dosnt make them any worse (or better) than the ''headliners''. So why do people feel obligated to stay and see a band they dont like just coz they are 'Headlining'? it makes no sence.

It was a pretty cool gig, not exactly my thing but the bands were all good at what they done. Tears od Grace: Not any emotion, move around a bit more, try and get 'into' your music and enjoy yourselfs, if you guys take on constructive crit then i suppose you would go down well to the right audience. 5 Finger Discount: Same again, not my thing, but you guys went down well so you gotta be doing something right... Some little bitch was goin about ranting to Richard (leads singer for Weeping Jesus) saying that they sound like metallica and arnt punk. i wanna set the record straight that although Jesus may not be half assed kiddy little bitch Blink 182 punk, they are punk. Any one who has ever listend to original old skool punk ie. Discharge, Sick of it all, Dead Kennedys will know that. I dont appreciate being told what the music im writing is.
