  1. *bump*

Going to be a great day of music! We've enlisted a great cross section of bands from across Scotland to participate AND have some really great acoustic players at Cellar 35 as well- and that admission tax gets you into both venues.

The timing is important too- Haiti relief has fallen out of the public eye in the last couple of weeks, but there are still people in need of clean water and shelter, food and medical care-

  2. Hey, Graeme! Finally a legitimate place for us to post, aren't we the only over-25's on the forum?

Are the songs high in fiber? Once you hit 25, well, all that sugar coated pop music goes straight to your hips and you need to start wearing a t-shirt to gigs, otherwise it's ass-crack central when you adjust your pedals.

  3. BTW, there's no BAND called 'food', there'll be food other than crisps available to offset the beer.

I'll have my new band there for a short set early on, then an acoustic set at Cellar 35 and a gig at the Moorings in the middle.....

  5. I agree with this 100%

Can I suggest Aberdeen lawyer and superstar musician Graeme Murray ... he's just sacked their singer of 25yrs so this subject is fresh in his mind.

There you go. Any time you get Graeme and I agreeing? You know that's right!

  6. Ok, a bit of shameless self promotion-

My new band, the East Side Kings, is playing at Cellar 35 on Saturday the 20th. Doors at 8, music starts about 9. 3 at the door.

If you haven't heard the new band, here's your chance- the East Side Kings is a 5 piece band with horns that plays the old jump blues- kinda like the Brian Setzer Orchestra with a bit of an attitude. It's pretty cool, different from the other t-shirt and jeans blues bands in town...

    Cheers!
