Bring back John Barnes/Tommy Burns/Dr. Jozef Venglo.
-
I'm starting to feel like a total cunt for even reading this thread.

C'mon, drugs aren't funny you guys
They were, but then idol_wild ruined drugs for everyone.
-
no its a cake of ROCK :]
Glorious.

Realised another pet hate last night: People who cannot rant in a witty, entertaining way but believe they are doing so brilliantly, continue regardless and think they're Charlie Brooker.
This is a good one.
Also, smug, "quirky" acoustic songs in every fucking advert on TV, and the worrying proliferation of male ponytails at Aberdeen Uni.

3-1 win away from home...
...no big deal.

Love Rat Terry Breaks Man's Leg:
BBC News - John Terry breathalysed after breaking guard's leg
Presumably this, like cheating on his wife, will lead to more praise for Terry for "showing great character" to "concentrate on his football" through another self-inflicted crisis. And all in Andy Gray's ridiculous clenched teeth voice that he reserves for speaking about Terry and Gerrard.
(I'm aware that he might not have actually done anything wrong in this case, but I don't care.)

The real problem at that club is whoever is in-charge of signing players
That would be Adriano Galliani - classic human.
Berlusconi is in charge of signing fat Brazilian superstars and pop stars' husbands though.
They were ghastly last night. The entire team needs a revamp from front to back. Pato is excellent and Borriello is a very useful player, but who else have they got up front? Huntelaar who is ghastly, and Inzaghi who's ancient. Their midfielders are old and decrepit (some of them are still quite useful, though) and they have a horde of donkeys playing at the back. The team is in a dreadful state, and I'm not really all that surprised that ManYoo dicked all over them. Can't really argue with much of that. I think this is an election year in Italy though, so Berlusconi may well invest heavily in the squad.
-
Is he definitely out? I know he mnissed the Roma game. Sky said this morning he travelled and is in the squad.
They certainly need a bit more finesse up front than Huntelaar, who is incredibly ineffective
He's definitely out...according to the hilariously unreliable goal.com.
Huntelaar won't start, regardless of whether Pato plays. Borriello will start, and he will run about a lot and try to knock people over, which I can't imagine is going to faze Vidic too much. Things will only get interesting when Inzaghi inevitably comes on.
I dread to think who Milan will play in place of Nesta. Bonera, probably.
-
Milan seem to be getting written off, but if Seedorf starts, Ronaldinho shows up and Pato plays like he has been domestically, they could easily score two.
Pato's out, apparently. Nesta too. Not good.
-
Fiorentina - Bayern was a great game. You know who's smarter than everyone else? Van Bommel and Schweinsteiger, that's who. Schweinsteiger especially is just a freakishly good all-round footballer.
Looking forward to Man Utd - Milan. I predict high levels of Seedorf.

Jaaaay Teeeee let 'iz footbawl do thuh taaawkin' once again by doing a brilliant Charlie Mulgrew impression for Milito's goal.
And while I'm on the subject of centre backs, Walter Samuel is one of the last of a dying breed of dirty, hacking bastards. Great player. Him and Cambiasso are top class, which is why Maradona probably won't take them to the World Cup, being the coke-addled bam that he is. He'll probably leave otu Zanetti and Milito as well, just for good measure.

Post-Nothing was one of my favourite albums of last year.

Italian ned but actually very good at football cunt.
He's never struck me as a bad guy, apart from that one brutal assault. I enjoy the fact that he's as mad as a lorry.
Here's him congratulating a team mate on a goal:

Faces I would never tire of punching:

As humiliated and angry as I feel, whatever waste of organs spat at McGhee needs their fucking teeth knocked out.
-
I'm embarassed about the fact that I still lose the plot over this every year.
-
Sounds like this was good. On that basis, I probably should have, y'know, actually bought a fucking ticket.
-
Can't decide whether to go to this or go to sleep. Are there still tickets available on the door?
-
Thanks to Stalkmaster Vega I now know who cap'n euan and Nefarious C are. Proper stalk, because I don't think either of them know who I am.

Look at that technique: leaning back, head outstretched, straight leg. That's how you do it, kids.
"Head outstretched"? Pretty sure I meant head up. Maybe not though - the Dazzler doesn't play by the rules.

This weekend's pet hate is the number of people I went to school with who've suddenly started showing an interest in rugby since going to uni. I blame Edinburgh.

Working, but should make it in time for the last two bands.

And Caley 3-0 up. Good to see that sacking Jocky Scott is proving to be the quick fix Melville planned.
