  4. Theres nothing better than a bit of banter, it keeps competition healthy and makes band work hardeer, the scene wouldnt be alive without it! Verbal ping pong is the best thing that can ever happen to AUBL coz it would be shite without it, cummon, all of you guys have at least bitched once on this boards, its part of being human. I have no rifts with johnny or ben or cammie or whoever coz there has been no reason too, who do you think has a good dose of the verbal dihorrea? adam
  5. i sent you a pm man, just get in contact with me when you want to jam cheers adam
  6. cheers man, do you know when they are putting it out?
  7. sigur ros gtis Byrjun is possibly one of the best albums ever created! It is the best rage of experimental songs you can have and not even ( ) can match that (yep, even if it does contain such a great song as "njosnavelin" - the end track of vanilla sky). The actual song "gtis Byrjun" is a truly beautiful song, "Svefn - G - Englar" comes a close second! I have to thank Sigur - Ros and their album gtis Byrjun for getting me through my exam revision, some say their stuff is depressing (like my dad for e.g.) but i think its the most truly glorious, uplifting and hair raising music you can ever listen too. Nobody can beat the Ros! anybody know if they are coming on a tour here any time soon? Cheers Adam
  8. yeah man ive got it, the only way i was able to get it was online through soulseek its a lot different from their newer albums Agaetis Brjuin and ( ) because Von sounds like one of them relaxation cd's you buy from "The natural world" in the bon accord centre. Very chilled out experimental stuff
  9. covers i absolutely adore BECK's version of "Everybody's gotta learn sometime" from the eternal sunshine soundtrack, anyone mutual?
  10. i think we were actually askin 40 a month
  11. ??? hmmm thats quite a hard one! id say i get the best vibe with playing our new song (yet to be played live) "Transhuman Condition For You", fucked up song name and absolutely experimental drummin/guitar. I like it soo much coz its got me playin a sort of drummin i like to do, its extremely experimental and quite different from our usual stuff. but then i also love our songs "Suicide blues" and "In God We Must" coz they are so hard hitting, thumping and in yer face frenzy. i like.... adam
  12. is anyone going to moorings for that major jam session tonight? Id like to come along and play the drums but need to know if people are coming and what you wanna play adam
  13. yeah man we did split up for a while, long story but we are now back together and currently lookin for a new practice room maybe be able to play with you guys soon cheers adam
  14. Yeah we generally get that reaction from people, you either love us or you hate us! ill let you know about our next gig so you can make a decision for your self, its like a mixture of icarus line/ jesus lizard and king crimson. cheers for the interest adam
  15. diuretics are back together and will be recording again later this summer woopdefuckinwelldoo!
  16. that was our band, untill we got chucked out coz a neighbour was threatening legal action so thats why we are looking for a basement somewhere
  17. does anyone know of any cheap practice places or rooms for my band to prctice? maybe we can rent a room in a basement somewhere? adam
  18. Hey People As some of you may know, the diuretics have now split up and are not currently thinking about getting back together in the near future. If anyone at all needs a drummer to have a jam or to try me out for playin with your band then this is the place to look! Im going to be in a few bands but as i am now moving to aberdeen i will be able to spend much more time on music, which is what i want to do. My drumming influences include The Captain (The Icarus Line), Paul Quattrone (Modey lemon), dave grohl, jimmy chamberlin(smashing pumpkins, zwan), cyrus bolooki (New found glory), taylor hawkins (foofighters), ravi Tajingham or something (my vitriol), Jose Pascillas (Incubus). My drumming influences may be these but im basically into all types of music I can play for a rock band, ballad rock, indie, basically anything but im not a good jazz drummer. I can also do punk depending on your influences. So maybe its handy to have a drummer who is into a lot of stuff. Im not a big fan of playing metal either though! cheers to anyone wo takes interest, just reply to this post or pm me, cheers adam
  19. cheers man, ill do that about aurora, i honestly have no idea!
