  1. 17" Signature Power Crash - 50 or very nearest offer. 20" Signature Power Crash - 50 or v.n.o. 20" Alpha China - 40 or v.n.o. 16" Alpha Crystal Crash - 40 or v.n.o. 18" 802 China - 30 or v.n.o 18" 802 Thin Crash - 30 or v.n.o. 18" 802 Crash - 30 or v.n.o. 16" 802 Power Crash - 30 or v.n.o. 10" 802 Splash - 10 13" Sound Formula Mega Cup Bell Chime (second hand but excellent condition, vintage look) - 50 or v.n.o. I'm looking to down - size my size of kit pretty considerably, so I'm wanting to offload most, if not all, of my cymbals and start from scratch. Obviously a few of them have been gigged more than others but they are all in good condition with no cracks or keyholes, with one exception. The 20" Signature Crash has the beginnings of a crack along the shoulder of the cymbal, so I'm not going to ask too much for this cymbal. If anyone is interested or wants to have a listen to how each cymbal plays, PM or e-mail me at len7a316@aol.com to arrange a meeting, probably at Captain Tom Music, Anne Street.
  2. I think that people should be happy with who they are and if that were to involve fronting a metal band and having short hair' date=' then fine. Of course, if [i']someone was fronting a metal band and felt the need to cut his/her hair off, then doing it for a charitable cause is as good as any. I will not be shaving my hair off, yet. I will, however, be setting up a kissing booth, so dig deep....it's for charity.....
  3. 'Convinced this was indeed the time and the place, Joe began preparation for his head - lining puppet show set'.
  4. With my hand on my thoroughly metal heart, I can say that I wasn't that taken by what I heard coming out of Rass' computer speakers when I heard B.G. However, if you wish to be impressed, try checking out Pain of Salvation. There Swedish and have a similar arrangement style to Opeth except not quite so heavy. They've just released their fifth studio album and their singer/guitarist/keyboardist/songwriter Daniel Gildenlow is an immense talent. I let Mac and Dan hear some of their stuff and neither of them punched me in the groin as a result.
  5. I actually got the idea for that title from an article in the Musicians Union magazine! But those other suggestions sound far more metal.....
  6. I am more than up for it, provided you non - drummers don't mind Chris and I taking up the majority of the stage with either ( or both?) of our repective Kits of Doom?!
  7. Saddened to hear the news from the horse's mouth. I knew you guys were considering calling it a day, but I never thought you'd be bothered enough to actually do it. I have fond memories of Taiwan, both as a spectator and as a participant and I genuinely believe that you were making progress with the covers. Good luck with the new material and with Stew in the mix, you won't go far wrong. Up the Irons!
  8. There are no more loyal and supportive fans that Black Atom fans! Like Joe said, the soundcheck didn't bode well, but you guys just lifted us and we owe last night's success to our beloved Atomites. Hopefully, we'll be able to repay your kindness with a full - length gig sometime soon. Until then, thank you all again! Up the ATOMITES!!
  9. I laughed, I cried, I wore a suspiciously un-metal shirt...... Once again, thank you to our loyal Atomites and hello to all our new friends!
  10. I spoke to Farmer today and he told me that RISACTONIA will be on the Kef bill with us! I'm scared! Join me!
  11. ....nah, judging by those gaunlets he was wearing at The Moorings, he'll be stealing the drum throne from Tico Torres soon! Homo -erotic fantasies aside, top gig last night! I would have gladly taken a shot in the mouth from any one of you guys after that performance (even Corn and he was looking extra specially wet). (I'm just saying this because it's the HMG forum and I thought a certain level of debauchery had to be reached or plummeted to......)
  12. It was a blinding gig! Promising stuff from Addicted To Chaos; hopefully we'll get another chance to play together again soon! The Gu were immense! I keep forgetting how entertaining they are and the depths to which they will delve with their banter. The real metal lords of the night were the crowd! If you were there, THANK YOU!
  13. 1).....maybe 2)Good shout! Old school! 3)Nice 4)Do you mean the band or the preservative of the same name? 5)We can burst anything if we play hard enough 6)What?....again?.....definitely! 7)I wouldn't mind do a bit of Rush. Tom Sawyer is a pretty heavy tune that I reckon the Atom could play well. Joe doesn't sound like a girl so it might give a whole new sound to it and make it less offensive to those who don't really dig Geddy Lee. Thanks for the imput. Who knows maybe some of your suggestions will appear in the set tonight at The Moorings. Best to turn up if you can and find out!
  14. Pete!Pete!Pete! Who knows? And anything Atom can't do, Immortal Wombat might end up doing but with a twist
  15. Now that The Watcher has open people up to the prog side of the Atom, would a return of Fight Not Won be welcomed? Who thinks that All We Are contains possibly the cheekiest solo on the album? Mac was certainly on top form that take! I smile every time I hear it!
  16. Next to Katie, Phil looks like a veritable monolith! Why hasn't this band on handsome outlaws got a forum on aberdeenmusic.com yet? It woud certainly add a bit of diversity! Who's with me?
