I was there last weekend. Pretty much the same set up as the Aberdeen one.

I like some of the Brewdog beers, 5AM Saint is outstanding. But I wish they could accept that their beer isn't the only beer you're allowed to like.

To be fair to them, they big up many other breweries and beers from around the UK as well as the rest of the world at both their beer dinners and events at their pubs.

I think a lot of their marketing is very tongue in cheek and takes the piss a bit and can make them seem a bit aloof.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still have the odd pint of Tenents or Best now and again, but i'd rather choose beer from a smaller brewery like Deeside Brewery, Meantime, Thornbridge etc etc.

All up to personal taste at the end of the day.

I am a fan of the BrewDog beers it has to be said.

Although, if i'm there, I tend to stick to the guest beers instead of theirs.

Moorings is indeed good for some different tipples.

The beer festival will be on a Pittodrie in a couple of months time too, always worth exploring (although I did spew the bed after last years event..... pretty sexy).

I didn't give anything away...... so no need for spoilers.....

It does get a bit ridiculous by Season 4, still good tv though.

PS, everyone dies, at least twice.

I went to the Edinburgh one this past weekend.

Pretty much the same as the Aberdeen one, but they have a wee kitchen and do beer hop pizzas.

Finally got round to watching all of season 4 after a couple of years break!!!

Was devastated by the finale.

Mahone is the MAN though.

Having conducted many comparison taste tests between old punk and new punk I reckon the new punk is far superior. There's far more underlying hints of fruit and a better blend of hops. The old one is quite basic in its flavours and whilst enjoyable, is quite a boring beer.

Have you tried the new punk in a can yet? I'm amazed at how good a canned IPA tastes. I think I even prefer it to kegged Punk.

I'm settling down for my first taste of Avery: Brown: Dredge Pilsner. A really enjoyable beer from the first few mouthfuls!

I have indeed tried the new one in a can... it's all a bit floral and flowery for my tastes. The girlfriend likes it though.

I really liked the original bitter one.

Tried the ABD Pilsner too, it was ok, nothing special though.

I did really enjoy the single IPA series they did recently though, in particular the Sorachi Ace.

I'm going to their beer dinner tonight, so looking forward to that!

The new punk IPA is gay.

The original was miles better.... only have about 10 bottles left.

Need to reformat a friends computer which is full of Trojan fun.

He has his Product ID code but it seems many computers didn't have a copy of Vista sent out with them on disk (and he can't find his manufacturer disks that came with the machine).

I did find out you can download a perfectly legit copy of the disk online (but it's on a torrent site which I can use at work).

In summary.... useless.

Why does my laptop power readout say "0% available (plugged in, not charging). Why isn't it charging?

I'm using it plugged in and it's working fine, I pulled the plug out a second ago to see what would happen and it switched off. It's never done this before...

If it's a MacBook, the battery will be tatties.

Not sure about buying in bulk, but i've seen them in Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons and Peckhams.
