  1. yeah ever since you left them its been quiet

you are such a celebrity hog

E106 will have nobody at their gigs anymore

    :)

Don't you mean we will have no Hog fans at our gigs anymore?

No disrespect to the HAWG meister, but a bunch of pre-pubescent teens following the "Mentor" of Aberdeen music, lacking in abundance at any E106 gigs will not be missed.

I know your only joking Mr Maxwell sir, but offence taken never the less, Element were 4 years old before Hog saw the light of day in the line-up! :help:

The only reason he's on here most of the time is as he works from home most days and spends a good bit of it on this damn website! :band:

  2. That's just like handing in your notice at a job and your boss walking you from the premises!!! Cold' date=' very cold...[/quote']

Not at all, it's more like splitting up with your bird, but asking her to lend you money that she promised you the week earlier!

It's not meant to be cold or bitchy, personally i don't really care, it's an e106 issue, hog has left now, and good luck to the gel master himself. But what goes on this forum is far from reality and not as important as actually getting on with things! We don't feel it a necessity to run everything through this web page. We were gonna keep things as a surprise, but hey nevermind no big deal!!

We will be back next year now, but with e106 line up number 4. New guitarist to come, but he will remain a surprise until the time comes. You will have to wait till our next gig in the early new year to witness yet a newer sound - strange i know! But always something inspiring! No worse for sure!! :)

    . :band:

  3. Thanks Paul. My last E106 gig will be on the 16th of December its a fudge gig. No more Spike gigs' date=' sorry.[/quote']

No it aint, sorry guys, Element will not be back till the new year now.

Hogs announcement on Tue night was taken by ourselves in E106 as immediate effect.

    We will return,

Although we wished that this had remained within the band and not become public.

  4. Yep it's true, tommorow at midnight we'll be hittin the road for our biggest venture yet complete with t-shirts badges cd's and love hate propaganda!

Playing at the Talbot Hotel with 27 other bands! mEtal

Watch this space for the photo's and video footage coming your way soon|!

  5. Not long back from said event' date=' much fun was had. Have to say that I witnessed the most outrageously ace bass guitar ever exhibited on a Moorings stage, and compliment Chris for being an absolute fucking machine on the tubs. Kudos to Hog too, of course. The Slayer comparisons are rather unfair.......:p[/quote']

Aw cheers mr scorgio new spike man! Hope that hairy bastard aint being too nasty to ya! Only kidding Jake!

, thats the nicest compliment i've ever heard, most people usually abuse me! ha ha

Glad you enjoyed yourself, lots of pints were had and a damn fine night for all!

  6. It has a lot of potential. Maybe it could feature Hog and Jakey sharing a flat' date=' like the Odd Couple. One of them likes metal music, and the other Emo. One is hairy, one isn't. One likes wine, one likes cider. One helps old ladies across the street, one attacks passers-by with an axe. One of them likes football, and one supports Dunfermline. Shaun and Timson would be the cheeky wee neighbours, always up to some shenanigans until Connie sorts them out. There could be music by a different local band every week, but the theme music would be by Spike Pile Driver.

I can see Bostaph becoming a cult hero with his surreal utterances in his occasional appearances. Eventually he would get his own spin-off series, Bostaph in his Element (106).

    You're right, Jake....I MUST get out more!!!!!!!!!!!!![/quote']

I like the idea as a spin off, but it can't be as lame as joey from fiends spin off, err "joey"!!

I'd like to work with Tartan seagulls and moon herrings if possible, is that random enough.net?

I'm not a weirdo really, just misunderstood!!

  7. I am more than up for it' date=' provided you non - drummers don't mind Chris and I taking up the majority of the stage with either ( or both?) of our repective Kits of Doom?![/quote']

Hell yeah! we can assemble a duo of drumkits big enough to swallow double decker busses and scary enough to make the mighty Portnoy shed a cold sweat!

    It's all Metal Baby! :band::up:

  8. Ah' date=' young Bostaph! May I tentatively suggest you edit your "band" bit, the Scorgeous one may feel a little left out. Good luck w/E106, ya lousy metalhead![/quote']

Cheers ya crazy blastbeat inspired herring fan club member!! :bat:

  9. as long as you play plenty of fast ones come saturday' date=' i won't be complaining [/quote']

Aw yes, we shall not dissapoint you at all, lots of fast songs coming your way!!

And as for the earlier sold out comment?? Dunno about that, as Hawggggg said, we are just getting started, songs need a bit of depth, but the recording is decent considering we multitracked 4 songs in 2 1/2 hours for quickness!

Everyone to their own opinion, for which we admire the honesty.

Thanks and we'll maybe see ya tonight!! :band:

  10. Yes it's true,

As the Moshulu gig was cancelled unfortunately, Element 106 have manged to squeeze a spot in the gig proceedings (Cheers Sharon!!!) but fear not, we will be on first between 10 - 10.30 ish i think to allopw punk to proceed for the rest of the evening.

So if any of you fancy checking us out feel free to drop in.

But failing that enjoy the rest of the bands!!!

    :band:

  11. Yes I think we can! I can confirm this tonight

No you can't man, do you never ever read my e-mails? I will be away till the 12th September, consequently element will not be playing on the 2nd AT ALL, :gringo: NO QUESTIONS ASKED
