  1. The title is how digital media has affected the way we consume music and the aim is to show how digital media has affected the way we consume music and whether this is damaging the music industry. I'm looking at it from the perspective of consumers who now have a much wider choice in how they access music, as well as the negative effects of downoading on record companies and record stores i.e Fopp.

there was more to fopps troubles than just downloading music.

i'll try and fill out your questionnaire later when i'm not at work.

  2. *opens mouth to say something, waits a moment to consider the ensuing nonsense and days of idiotic posting which results in petty insults and the insinuation that someone's reply was not read in its entirity but if they were to kindly return and reread the argument then surely they would be won over by it's persuasiveness, realises it's really not worth going over the same shit yet again and closes his mouth and gets the hell out of this thread*

  3. I'm not sure what else I can tell you without giving it away entirely. I don't know about Edith, but I've gone a bit Googley doing this bloody quiz. I'm still stuck on 25.

yea it's cool. i'll keep plugging away. i know what the 26 stands for(there can't be that many things and based on the previous puzzles it seems to be obvious) but just can't get the right answer. i'm not sure i fully understand the relationship between the equation and the title. it'll probably pop into my head while i'm doing a dump or something.

  4. fair play to the haho getting to play with sebadoh! wish it was happening up here though.

nothing too exciting for me about aberdeen. rza would be good but i'm getting married that weekend so doubt i'll make it to anything anyway.

  5. 25th Clwb Ifor Bach, cardiff, Wales w/KLING KLANG/Brown Wings

Make sure you get decent directions - The Lorelei played there a loooong time ago (at least 13 years ago) and we had to drive around Cardiff for ages, trying to get hold of the promoter to find out where to go - only later discovering that it was the club night which had the name "Clwb Ifor Bach" and not the venue.

Oh, and it was a very strange night....

    Regards

    Flossie

and once you get there bundle kling klang into yer van and haul them back up here for a gig.

    have fun chaps!

  6. I sort of agree with you on the UFC thing. I don't really enjoy seeing people getting the living piss kicked out of them. But I don't really see how wrestling is exploitative. There's far more emphasis on entertainment than the violent side of things. I think 90% of the time wrestling is just pretty good fun. The other 10% is when they have midgets getting the shit kicked out them and thrown about a cage. Although that was actually quite good.

    i agree.

except for the bit about midgets.

    that's just wrong.

  7. His music is pleasant enough. Some nice melodies and guitar playing but not something I listen to out of choice. Especially not that Soundtrack he did for Curious George. Sounds like some kind of musical episode of Playdays. Doing ABC's and being friends with flowers. Get fucked.

    hahaha, ace.

i quite like jack johnson. nice to whistle along to. i play it at work when i've got really young babies in as it's nice background stuff that isn't going to offend or freak babies out with.

  8. gretna. lol

It is particularly gratifying to see them crash and burn after their "meteoric" rise from kicking/shoving/pushing part timers around in the 3rd division, to being kciked/shoved/pushed around in the SPL

not really, it's shit to see any club go into administration not least through the serious illness of their owner.

fair enough to lol at their poor results but laughing at this is a bit much.

  9. i once played at murrayfield. and scored.

it was an under 15 cup final for my school a while ago.

saturdays atmosphere was almost, if not equally electric as that 5,000 strong crowd the day we lost to galashiels 22-17

but scotland, as always, too little too late.

resigned to head the same way as the football team in the next decade or so.

    oh dear...

not sure what you mean by that. scotland football team have been punching well above weight recently.
