  1. I've always thought machine head are pretty dull, never really understood the attraction. I bought Burn My Eyes when it came out, sold it shortly after. I used to have more patience with Pantera, they don't really catch my interest anymore either. Both bands seem to influence every metal band that I don't like, so I begrudge them that aswell.

  4. I'm looking to get some sort of equipment for a young drummer to practise on at home. He's just starting out so we don't want anything too expensive/flashy. Also, we live in a small tenement flat, so it has to be fairly quiet! Any suggestions? A few folk have recomended the yamaha dx (is that right?) electronic kits, but 500 is way over our budget. Any advice from those of you who are in the know will be much appreciated.

  5. It basically comes down to the whole "punk points" thing I reckon. Hey, maybe we'll become the biggest band in Scotland now from playing with EOM, I dunno. Aint seen them ebfore, not the biggest fan of their album, but Scoot is a top notch bloke, so we'll see how it goes.

I've not heard the most recent LP, but the Weakness 7" is just wicked.

Not that i like the Exploited at all, but I couldn't care less about that.

  6. Cool. Where did ya see 'em? Have caught the guys twice - at a hardcore all day show London '97 with Stampin Ground, Withdrawn, Scalplock, Area Effect, and Freebase, and then again with 50 Caliber at Lava I thinkfour years ago. If folks wanna check 'em out, they can do so here: http://www.myspace.com/knuckledustlbu

ND? Had we been talkin' Scum era, then would have definitely made it along, but no, fraid I'm not interested really. Ain't the band they were. Sorry. My only interest in makin' this show is coz Knuckledust are playin', but am thinkin' no. Ain't gonna go just to catch those guys.

Saw them in the Cardinal's Cap, Canterbury, a number of times with various local supports. They were always tight as fuck - used to do a wicked cover of 'so what' (crass). Sure I saw them at the Lido in Margate once too, but can't remember much about that one as I was fairly fried.

Just listened to the mp3s on their Myspace - bit dissapointed really, don't like them at all. When I stayed down south (Dover) there was little to no HC interest/presence, so maybe they just didn't have much competition! Maybe they were just better ten years ago. Who knows.

  7. Pop Group, NOFX, GBH, Active minds, Flux of pink Indians, Spite, Contempt, the Exploited, the Insane, therapy vinyl up for sale.

Super rare Pop Group LP 'For how much longer...' - long out-of print on any format, this is the original run with four massive double-sided poster inserts. see the listing for more info!

Also, a sega dreamcast with 1 controller, 1 memory card and 4 games.
