Arf! No Hampden for Tangoman, then.
I'm off to bet on Hibs winning the cup.......
You can just hand the money over to me if you're going to waste it.
1902. I think this may be their year

I am currently pricing up a mini-tour of Canada for March/April as part (or possibly all) of my travel plans. London-Halifax (to visit relatives)-Calgary (to visit my wee cousin)-Vancouver (to see somewhere I've wanted to go for ages)-London. 500 all in for all the flights. Nae bad.
-
Done! I can get it at the airport apparently.
Be aware that there is absolutely fuck all once you get past check-in at Pearson. I incurred significant family-wrath for that.
Enjoy the rest of your trip mate.

it is a bloody good album.
Superb album. "Postcards From Italy" has got to be one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded.
Amazing live band as well - absolutely insane.

Have just ordered:
Diefenbach - Run Trip Fall
Edan - Beauty and the Beat
Royksopp - Royksopp's Night Out: Live E.P. and, err...
Lily Allen - Alright Still
More worryingly, my Amazon Wishlist, which I had mostly cleared, has had several additions. It'd be cheaper for me to stop not drinking I reckon.
-
Will be a complete replacement I'm afraid...
-
Scrap that then.
Leighton?
Zibi the Jambo seems to have fallen out of favour at Hibs. Maybe you could get him?
-
Too many bad nights on shite ales when I was underage mean I don't really drink the stuff now, although I'm partial to the occasional Deuchar's IPA and a few bottles of Innis & Gunn are always a good start to a night.

spending half a day doing a 10 minute job.
They're obviously not paid by the call then...

Sadly, my recently purchased 360 is 400 miles away being baby-sat by my sister until I head back to Edinburgh in a couple of months. Who'd have though it would be so damn heavy?
Anyway, got hooked on Call of Duty 3, and don't see me playing much else until it's finished.

(I've only seen it once on a 280).
*cough* Well that's something for you to look forward to then.
The symptoms described in the first post are actually some of the more common ones that occur with the swollen caps. But I can't say too much...

Heart of Midlothian and (to a much lesser extent) Scotland.
Hate the Old Firm, find Hibs amusing (usually) and am not really bothered by anyone else.
Players I hate: All the usual suspects plus Gary Fucking Dempsey for that stupid fucking, knee-me-square-in-the-fucking-groin-I-deserve-it dance he does when he scores. Although he seems to have stopped it of late.

Don't go to a Baseball match, unless you like it already... bored off my tits I was.
I went to a Jays game and really enjoyed it. Would recommend it if you've got the time and patience - although tickets are so cheap that it's not a massive loss if you decide to leave early. But I don't think it's baseball season anyway.
Niagara's definitely worth the trip. Get a regular bus from the station (I forget exactly where it is) instead of one of the incredibly overpriced tours. It will take up most of a day though.
The island tours are a pretty good way of passing some time as well.
The bars are great, and if you're by yourself, you'll find that the staff and regulars will become your new best mates in no time at all...Dirt cheap too (and should be even better than when I was there last given the weak Canadian Dollar).
I may well be making a stop off there myself in the next few months if all goes according to plan.

Dean Shiels - Hibs
Calum Elliot - Hearts (loan)
Doubt either of these very much. The wee thug's been linked with a permanent move to the dons and Elliot's likely to get a fair few games at the JTs.
We've signed Romanian "wonderkid" and "new Gheorghe Hagi", Dumitru Copil. Apparently Alexander Hleb's wee bro might manage to get a work permit in time for this transfer window. If not, he'll be at Hearts in the summer.

Shame, I was about to suggest the mighty Eduard Malofeev. Cracking manager...

Is your PC made by a particular, large company? I may have an answer if so...
Do you know what make/model the motherboard is?
-
Not really a new saying, but why can't people say they're on holiday any more? Why do you have to be on "annual leave"?
Cunts.

"Face like a melted welly".

DAMN blast, look at my past, ripping up my feet over broken glass. Oh wow, look at me now, I'm building up my problems to the size of a cow.

Brewster just turned 40, I think.
Incidentally, Ally McCoist and several other of the mid 90's 'nine in a row' side are due to appear in a Rangers XI at Firhill for the great John Lambie's testimonial next month. Any excuse to chant at that lot one more time should not be missed! Highlights in Jags colours should be Jim Duffy, Danny Lennon, Steve Pittman, Roddy Grant, and the one and only Chic Charnley (who scored a cracker from 25 yards out at Kenny Arthur's testimonial against Celtic pre season).......
Roddy Grant is the father of my wee cousin's mate. My wee cousin is about 1000% times cooler than me however, so this is probably insignificant to him.

It's all over the news here, we get the inbred East Anglia news rather than London - so everything is all rather "WE NEED INFORMATION" at the minute.
Yours is way more exciting. The Londonshire news always, without fail goes along the lines of "water shortage"..."pretentious twat opens new gallery that will no doubt close again within a week"..."muslims feel isolated".

Beirut - Gulag Orkestra.
Soviet-styled Americana. Lovely stuff.
Oh, and number 1 in Rough Trade's albums of the year.
