Great night, worst hangover in living memory.

Kinda shocked by the comments about the vocals to be honest... Sure they were low down in the mix but you kinda expect that listening to the records. I thought they were pretty good. Not the most mind blowing gig ever but it was pretty much as I expected... Apart from the light show. That was awesome. Wasn't expecting that at all. Got bored very quickly during You Made Me Realise though... Went to the bar, not a bad thing. The only disappointment was that some guy walked into me and gave me a bleeding nose!

The boy done good. Danananakroyd were fucking incredible. Whilst still drunk this morning, I described them to someone at work as, "like the best party you've ever been to." I'm sticking with that.

It does seem like a pretty odd venue for them... It'll certainly be the most soulless place I'll have seen them should I get tickets...

I really wish that Chemikal would concentrate on finding good new bands instead of just re-releasing some of their former glories (Mogwai Young Team, this means you). The new Aidan Moffat album is the best thing they've released for years but it's not like that was a big find out of nowhere. Still, I do love Aereogramme and I do love vinyl... *sigh*
