okay so most people reading this will know what i'm on about but lots of gigs are spoilt by chatting even tho I am known to shoosh peeps @ lots of gigs whether IMP's or beyond this gig will be quiet the whole ethos is a lovely chilled evening where we are delighted people have a catch up BETWEEN each performance. During each live section don't even try standing at the bar chatting you will be asked to leave. Performers & quiet paying customers deserve an evening of mutual enjoyment.

got a good friend moving up these parts & is asking if there are any good studios for producing/mixing excellent quality electronic music....any help appreciated

Hey Joseph, on behalf of all @ IMP very best of luck, we will be sad not to see your music career develop further, keep playing & doing what YOU believe in. Hopefully one day b4 we retire you will play again for IMP just like the awesome sets like you did with Withered Hand, Tune-Yards & UTG in June

Second Hand Marching Band were great outside 1UP today but nothing short of wonderful down UTG......Come along to Drummonds to night for a great great night

there is a problem with that theory, in that for numerous reasons the city garden will never happen....

as offramp said thanks for the great comments, personally I thought Tune Yards were magical & third time lucky to get the band to Aberdeen & well worth the wait. Maybe one day they will return but bigger cities await Merrill & co. If they do come back they loved Tunnels & the Aberdonian hospitality. Thanks to all who made it a night to remember & special mention for Foxhunting to continue to improve, entertain & go for it..

thanks for all the kind remarks, twas a difficult gig to get right for everyone's needs an instore in Glasgow & a late arrival meant our American visitors apart from Big Troubles didn't sound check. Ducktails would certainly bring his other band to the Tunnels sometime as he said it was a sweet sound & he enjoyed his set a lot.
