  1. My flatmate has applied for a council flat (yeah, that's how much we all enjoy living here  ) but I don't think it's for me really. If I'm going to live alone I wanna live somewhere I'm going to feel safe walking the streets (guess I should move cities then, hmm?) and near my boyfriend :)

Anyways, I've found the flat I want, going to view it with my mum tomorrow and see how it goes. It might be a long term commitment, but at least I can make it my own and have somewhere of my own in the future. And it means i can get a kitty :D

  2. you'll struggle for one bedroom at under 300. You'd be better off sharing if you're on a budget.

Yeah, I'm sharing at the moment, but sadly it's just not worked out as well as we all thought. Unless I can find the right person/people I think it'll have to one bedroom.

Getting a morgage at 19 sounds scary though, it'll mean I'm grown up :(

  3. I thought it was alright. I wouldn't particularly recommend it unless you have both time and money to burn.

The theme is about family relationships. Consequently my mother really enjoyed it.

    It's no Toy Story.

yeah, i wasn't too impressed. Didn't live upto the hype at all.

Blah. But the wee cartoon at the start with the lamb was cute :)

  4. There was an exciting fight downstairs in Triple Kirks last night...at 7:30before our doormen even started. We had to borrow the Revolution doormen instead.

i wondered about that, was turning into belmont street around then. police cars went to the *other* end of belmont street and I heard a Revolution bouncer tell one guy that he'd better 'run teh fuck away, fucking run!' which i thought was strange, presuming this was the dude who started it. They guy bombed up towards TKs and then went over the bridge.

  5. people who arent trying to be different unlike most moshulu types(and failing since every other kid who wants to be unique wears the same sort of things)?

no, i mean a certain variety of persons, I'm sure you know what kind of people i mean. I'm trying to avoid the use of 'pikey' or 'townie', but, there you go...

it has nothing to do with what they are wearing, however, sadly, it seems that a certain way of dressing follows a certain way of behaving. I don't mind some of these folk when they're sober, but when drunk it is in my experience that a number of people who appear from the Priory at 2am are obnoxious, loud and in general, really fucking annoying.

Yes, i go to moshulu, but I'm not trying to be different. i like teh music, enjoy the company etc. I would never (no matter how drunk) stagger out of a club and shout abuse at people wearing different clothes from myself.

Sorry if I've made sweeping statements there, but thats my experience, and it comes from being infront of a bar, and working behind one.

  6. no comparison, Moshulu everytime.

Same reasons as everyone else: Exodus is crowded, full of completely wasted pikeys and there's not really anywhere to sit down or have a chat with folk.

    Moshulu, good because :

    I met my boyfriend there

really friendly barstaff who recognise you on teh street (hmm, maybe I go there too often :D)

excellent DJs, especially the lovely Ross who never laughs at a request and reminds me of a young Bruce Campbell...(thats a compliment by the way :) )

Tis local! Nothing to do with this crappy 'it's a scream'chain

    cheap drinkies

the back room - great music and perfect for talking to people

it's a venue as well as a club

and it's connected to the mighty Bassment (although it'll always to HJBs to me) and that means cocktails, pool and brilliant food at student friendly prices.

oh, and it's nowhere near Belmont Street, so you're less likely to run into Priory type people (or have to avoid a police screaming towards Revolution) on your way home.

First class, well done to all involved

  7. where's teh best place for pizza in aberdeen? Pizza Hut? PHD? Snappy Tomato? Heavenly Pizzas?

At the moment I'm not sure anything could beat the 1.99 Ristorante pizza i just bought from Safeways but you never know...

And what's everyone's favourite toppings? My flatmates scorn me for liking ham and pinapple, tell me I'm not alone!

  8. my parents are ok, they broke up when i was 2, spend 16 years screaming abuse down the phone at each other, then, as soon as i hit 18 they started getting along wonderfully, going on holiday together and the like.

Nah, they're cool, no matter what shit they've been through together, all the rows and horribleness when i was too young to understand what was going on, they've always been good to me, hell, my mum rolled me my first joint and my dad would rather i drank alcohol than coke :)

  9. hmm, us girlies do have a talent for making a huge fuss out of nothing. The thing is, if she was prepared to end it over something like that then maybe she was looking for a way out anyway, and kinda manufactured a fight so she wouldn't feel so bad about it.

But I don't know, when my boyfriend and I fight it's usually over something stupid, but it's horrible at the time and seems really serious. Give her some space then speak face to face if she's still upset about it.
