According to Sky Sports, Inverness Caley were the lone objectee. Glad to hear our board listen to the fans.
Sky Sports | Football | Scottish Premier | News | Doncaster - Fans will embrace plans
...and I'm guessing the Steven Thompson NOTW rumour (google it) had something to do with his sudden change of heart. It's been a bad week for the Arabs with Goodwillie being charged

o_O
Surely they must be getting confused with the other Rooney?
Nah. Our one is better. Banging the goals in compared to Shrek.
I await the Jonny Hayes to Barcelona story now

A step down no...?

Are Biffy Clyro still doing tomorrow's Cup draw at 2.30pm? Any lower division club away from home please
-
i presume flares are still bad news at games right? will celtic get a big fine for the green brigade setting them off prior to the match starting and then chucking one on the pitch after the goal?
Ayr set one off against Hibs yesterday as well apparently...

Would like to hear about another lower league catastrophe from Shittodrie, I doubt it this time though...
The Dons only tend to get put out by ex-players, so I reckon they'll be fine...*
*Checks East Fife squad*
Oops, looks like you could be in trouble:
In all seriousness, East Fife could be a tricky game. Looking at their squad, they have players like Kurtis Byrne, Robert Sloan, Shaun Fagan, Scott Durie and the MIGHTY STEVE HISLOP who have played (and could still play) at a higher level. They also have an excellent manager in John Robertson, who was brilliant for ICT
I'm just away to jump on a train back to Elgin, to see the folks and mates before the Inverness Caley Thistle v. Elgin City game tomorrow. No 'cupset' their please!

Neil Doncaster was on Sportsound tonight speaking a fat load of shite. I've just got a horrible feeling that guns are going to be held to clubs heads to force this through regardless of what everyone actually wants.
The rhetoric he was coming out with is strikingly similar to the stuff from ACSEF and Sir Ian Wood surrounding Union Terrace Gardens. Awesomely one sided and saying the status quo will lead to oblivion but short on details why and unwilling to listen to reasons why their own batshit mental scheme won't work.
I too have this horrible feeling. Even if the voting goes 10-2 or 9-3, I still think they'll change the rules so that the 10 team reduction is carried, based on a 'marjority' decision.
I'm away to email the ICT chairman in the hope that he sticks to his guns and votes AGAINST the proposal.

Doesn't look like ICT are up for a 10 team league: CALEY JAGS WARY OF 10 TEAM SPL | ICT News | ICT News | News | Inverness Caledonian Thistle
But I'll wait to see if the other chairmen mention the favour they gave us when allowing a groundshare with Abdn...

Self Preservation League.

Away back to Elgin that night, in preparation for the ICT v. Elgin City match on the saturday... so I'm out i'm afraid.

Quite chuffed with how my 2010 went, where I managed:
- My first marathon - from Hampden to Loch Lomond in a kilt
- My first ascent of Ben Nevis - in a kilt
- Adding Sweden to my Tartan Army away game list
- Crossing off Ayr United, Dundee, Raith Rovers, Kilmarnock and Hibs from ICT away game list
- Getting much more responsibility and kudos at work
- Getting back into playing 11s football, with some decent goals and no major injuries
- Putting on over half a stone gained from about 300 gym visits this year
I'm aiming to have a similar 2011, where I will be doing the following:
- Continued gym visits to boost muscle and fitness levels for football and...
- Kayaking the Caldeonian Canal
- Climbing the Atlas mountains in June/July
- Taking in Liechteinstein, Switzerland and Spain when travelling with the Tartan Army
- Head up the West Coast of Scotland for a week or so in July
- Continue crossing off away game venues for ICT games. Namely Motherwell and Hamilton
- Head back up Ben Nevis in the Spring in the hope of better weather/visibility
I've already booked the flights/hotels for the Scotland games and Atlas mountains, the rest should be easy enough to do as the year progresses...
- My first marathon - from Hampden to Loch Lomond in a kilt

So now the Dons have scraped 2 wins against the two worst teams in the league, will their assault up the league lead them into the top 6 by March??
-
Now that's the support band mystery solved...
Anyone know the stage times for tonight?? It would make my pre-gig drink organisation much easier!
-
Are we any closer to knowing the support band?
...if not, are there any stage times known?
-
Worst Caley performance I've ever seen. We are rank rotten without Johnny Hayes.
-
Off I go to Inverness Caley Thistle v. St Midden...
3 points would be lovely, but with Hayes out injured I have a feeling we'll struggle today.
-
Any idea who's supporting yet?
-
It's so rare these days! I actually have an obsession for looking up every match in England to see how Scottish players got on. I even try to find their names in the match report.
Moi aussi

Here's the Craig Gordon save for anyone who missed it:
-
That's the whole of 2010 unbeaten away from home for Inverness Caley Thistle
In other news, the weather in the Ipswich v. Leicester game is MENTAL!! I've forgotten what winter games like these looked like i.e. can't see a blade of grass for snow, bucketing down with the white stuff with only an orange ball to help the game.
Also... Paul Konchesky's Mum:

Dons game postoned.
-
The 27th sounds really good, right?
I'd probably manage that date if it was an evening game
-
I take the exact same number of steps back, at a 45 degree angle... tap my left toe on the ground behind me as I start my run up, looking to hit it in the keepers right corner... then open my stance as I reach the ball putting it in the keepers left. 3 scored from 3 for Drummonds Thistle so far, so I'll be sticking to this routine for the next few pens at least! *
*unless Christy nabs back penalty duties
