  1. Having conducted many comparison taste tests between old punk and new punk I reckon the new punk is far superior. There's far more underlying hints of fruit and a better blend of hops. The old one is quite basic in its flavours and whilst enjoyable, is quite a boring beer.

Have you tried the new punk in a can yet? I'm amazed at how good a canned IPA tastes. I think I even prefer it to kegged Punk.

I'm settling down for my first taste of Avery: Brown: Dredge Pilsner. A really enjoyable beer from the first few mouthfuls!

  2. I'm off to the Fife derby today with a bunch of Raith supporting mates. Hopefully United can stuff Killie first and set up a fun afternoon...

That'll be a great game! A pretty much sold out title/promotion decider. If raith win the league, Andy Kirk from Dunfermline is our summer target, whereas a Dunfermline title win means Gregory Tade from Raith is the preferred ICT signing. Apparently.

I'm down in Cardross helping the missus move into our new flat, so I'm hoping to make the 2 minute train journey to Dumbarton v Ayr Utd today, since there's no ICT game till Monday. Getting to cross another stadium off the 'been there' list :)

  3. I think it would be much more productive for UEFA to fine the SFA for not doin their job regarding Rangers disgusting behaviour at every away game they've played for the last few seasons. If the SFA carried our their threat of docking points for signing instead of choosing to ignore the songs which are CLEARLY audible at the games and on tv, then the club and fans might actually do something about it!

I think it was isreal or somewhere similar that had a problem with fan behaviour and their authorities agreed a no tolerance approach; where anyone stepped put of line they were given a 2 year jail sentence. Overnight the trouble stopped, as most fans didn't want to lose their jobs over a football match. I have a funny feeling a lot of the middle class Rangers fans that attend these games an sing the songs would follow suit. There will always be that scummy minority who will continue their attitude, but the more underground they are the less us fans of otter clubs have to see or hear them.

  4. What's this racism nonsense? It's sad if the tartan army's reputation is tarnished because of one banana of unknown origin. It's pretty obvious our supporters have no such agenda.

Well I was at the game and I'm raging at the lad for his comments :swearing:

He is moaning that we were booing him because of his nationality/race. Any football fan can see he was getting dogs abuse for feigning injury earlier. He's a bloody talented player, but a big girl when it comes to taking a challenge.

The banana that was at his feet had been thrown from the BRAZILIAN end. Scotland fans were nowhere near that area of the pitch. When has a Scotland fan ever had fruit at a match!? Especially when there are pies on offer.

Also, why would we be racist when we are so good at Religious hatred

The Daily Mash - Religious bigots deny racism

  5. It's the one thing I actualy used to give Barry Ferguson credit for, when all the other Rangers players would pull out with seemingly imaginary injuries, he rarely did, he seemed like he actually had some passion for the national team.

Totally wrong. Barry Ferguson hasn't even played 50 caps for Scotland! He'd pull out of friendly after friendly, especially if it was midweek and Rankers had a game at the weekend.

I'm starting to really gear up for the trip to Emirates now. One more day of work

Whilst I'm here have a go of this: Football365 | Fun | Missing Men. I managed to get them all apart from the right back

  6. Ooh, the next step.

I've got another batch of the ready made stuff in a can to brew. If that goes well I'd consider upgrading to the full process.

I believe Brewdog are releasing a brewing guide soon.

I've sent you the PDF of it, which was sent to shareholders. Not very detailed, but lists the basics...

    Check your gmail account

  7. finally having an offer accepted on a house, after a week of stress and negotiating. i don't think i'll relax fully till we're in but it's still pretty damn aceic. a proper house, with a garden....and a shed! shed's are definitely aceic. i might brew beer in it.

Here's what I have my eye on when I eventually get a bigger place:

    ALL Grain Complete Starter Kit

I've also bought a heap of home brewing books to learn a bit more about how to do it properly.

Good luck with the move

  8. that was the most shocking stat i think, why are kids choosing to support those teams? it can't just be gloryhunting or is it because they're on tv so much more?

I reckon it's because kids are too lazy to support a team that will rarely win anything i.e. their local team, whether that be Aberdeen, Montrose or Fraserburgh. It is much easier to support one of the big teams like Celtic, Rangers, Man Utd etc, so you can watch almost every game on tv, say that you are a 'fan' and get to gloat whatever trophy(ies) your team won this year.

Nobody had 'an English team' until Sky came along as far as I'm aware?
