Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Special HB BK bass guitar - I don't think that Fender make this model anymore, having replaced it with different finishes and the non-humbucker version.
I bought this on a whim for fun and actually never really got round to playing it. Is basically brand new (even still has plastic covering the pickguard). Looking for £150, with offers welcome.
Best reply here if interested, or email me at morrice.adam[at]gmail.com.
- Black Finish Agathis Body
- Maple C-Shape Neck
- Rosewood Fretboard
- 20 Frets
- 1 x High Output Humbucker Pickup
- Active Tone Circuit (preamp)

Hi.
My band are potentially looking for a string quartet/ensemble to collaborate with on some acoustic sessions over the coming months.
Where are y'all? Or can anyone recommend some places we can look or advertise..?
Thx thx.

I just won one of these off of that Ebay.
I don't have a cab for it yet, but was wondering what type of cab would be best for home use.... Probably just going to opt for the matching 2x10 eventually, but any suggestions would be crackin' derts.

I use this for my wee practice head and it does a job. Not going to win any awards, but it packs a punch and is cheap comparatively. Sounds better than a heap of 2x10s I tried in the shop, too.

No, I work at Asda and have never stepped foot in the place. I don't post about my work on here, I am not allowed too.
Which Asda?

Yeah, the Nespresso pods (some of them anyway) are okay, and far better than a lot of the 'cheap' non-Nespresso-branded alternatives that also fit the machine.
Wholeheartedly agree that freshly ground beans cannot be beaten and will still occasionally do this if I'm feeling particularly sexy of a Sunday morning. Got a Krups grinder for my Christmas a few years back and it's decent.

I quite like it, but sounds like it's missing a lead vocal. I get the idea, and the vocal that's there works nicely as a kind of backup/texture, but think it would be a heap better with a lovely melody sang over the top.

With age I got lazier and wealthier so just use a Nespresso now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fender Jazz bass (w/ flatwounds and retro-fitted 'snap on/off' bass mute) > Boss TU2 > Boss Bass EQ > Ampeg SVT-CL > Ampeg SVT-410HLF
Korg MS10 > Boss TU2 > PA
No pics, soz.
About to re-acquaint myself with my first ever bass guitar (Fender Precision MIM), by buying off the guy I sold to eight years ago. Welcome home, friend.
Need to have a think about perhaps a 'better' bass EQ pedal (any ideas?), because as nice as my amp is it is actually pretty difficult to get a solid sound out of. Plus an EQ pedal is very useful where I have to use someone else's amp or a house amp/stage amp at festivals etc etc. - can just zero the EQ on the amp and know what EQ works for my guitar through the pedal. ALSO it moulds the DI sound before it hits the PA rather than leaving it to chance with the FOH engineer if we haven't taken our own.

If I win the lottery I'm going to pay you a handsome wage to make pop gems and play FM, because I love you very much.
Have we discussed this before? Because if I win the lottery my genuine plan is to play FM all day and just pay myself the wage I 'get' in the game. Keep things interesting, you know?

Alright, no bother
I haven't been playing! Not touched it for over six weeks. As soon as I'm back in the zone I will be sure to update.

I'm definitely going to buy a cheap pair at lunchtime.

I voted 'yes' last time round, although for a long time I was convinced voting 'no' was the right way to go, in fact it was the couple of days prior to the referendum date that swayed me. Of that I am glad.
I will still be a 'yes' unless something drastically changes between now and the date of the second referendum - and I am more convinced than ever. Scotland has its very own, and nuanced political identity which stands aside from the rUK, but cannot ever hope to allow that to flourish whilst ruled from Westminster.
Aside from anything else, it could take actual decades for there to be any true opposition to the Tories which presents a viable alternative, and well...fuck that.
There is a lot about the SNP that I dislike, but once Scotland has its independence its people will begin to form its own political spectrum - I guess crucially the difference is that how individuals vote will actually matter for a change.
