Country Thang
Just sold a set of Alan Hamels for £250 which were great but not as good as the Custom Shop Nocasters I replaced them with.Believe it or not, the Tonerider Hots are excellent and the bridge pickup is almost identical in sound to the Nocaster, cheap as chips too. Guest davetherave
Totally agree about the Toneriders, I changed my mex tele to tonerider Vintage plus pups and it sounded much better
Bigsby
Have some Bareknuckle Yardbirds I might sell for a decent offer...
Teledeluxe
Fender Japan vintage pickup actually aren't bad at all. I've tried quite a few tele pickups. I just got a Seymour vintage stack bridge pickup today and it sounds fantastic. Brent Mason uses that pickup too, so it can't be bad. Whistle Tester
So how much do you guy's want for your P.U's? And can I also ask, why you dont like them?
Bigsby
I honestly have no idea what they are worth, wasn't planning on selling them, they are still in a Partscaster that doesn't get played much these days following the acquisition of a CV 50s. If you can get brand new BKs cheap then you should obviously do that, they make good pups.
Teledeluxe
My thoughts... SD Lil 59 (bridge) - Little 'twang', expecially on bass stringsLace T-150 (bridge) - Not bad, but it just doesn't sound like a tele bridge pickup should. Bass strings lack definition Allparts sell good tele pickups, at a reasonable price too. The Allparts neck pickup sounds fatter than most, almost stratty. Seymour Alnico 2 pro neck pickup is good, but bridge pickup is said to lack bite by a few reviewers. One of my teles has just been treated to Seymour vintage stack neck and bridge pickups. They're very well balanced, making the middle switch position very usable. I'm very happy with them. If I hadn't been, the next pickups I'd be trying would be Seymour's five two's. I'd try BK's too.
