  1. I'm looking for a mid range left handed electro acoustic guitar for a friend.
  2. If that was my stuff I'd keep the amp and downsize to a 2x12 cab. Amp would have to work harder to get the same volume from a 2x12. If you sell you'll regret it, even though it is big! :-)

  4. Looking for a decent 4x10 guitar ( not bass ) cab. Must be either 4 or 16 ohms and in decent condition. Prefer Fender or Eminence speakers. May consider empty cab or speakers.
  5. Have a look at http://guitar-auctions.co.uk/ They have values for guitars previously sold. This isn't the best place to value musical gear.
  6. I got a 9V ac supply for my Alesis stuff from Maplin at the Hauddagain roundabout. If you want to go there and take along your DM10 I'm sure they'll be able to provide a power supply with an adapter that fits. You could check them out first at www.maplin.co.uk
  7. Nothing can beat the Simms Watt ad on ebay, which "worked great until my dog pissed on it" ! :-) At least the seller was honest!_
  8. My thoughts... SD Lil 59 (bridge) - Little 'twang', expecially on bass strings Lace T-150 (bridge) - Not bad, but it just doesn't sound like a tele bridge pickup should. Bass strings lack definition Allparts sell good tele pickups, at a reasonable price too. The Allparts neck pickup sounds fatter than most, almost stratty. Seymour Alnico 2 pro neck pickup is good, but bridge pickup is said to lack bite by a few reviewers. One of my teles has just been treated to Seymour vintage stack neck and bridge pickups. They're very well balanced, making the middle switch position very usable. I'm very happy with them. If I hadn't been, the next pickups I'd be trying would be Seymour's five two's. I'd try BK's too.
  9. Ronz, and anyone else interested.... The radio frequencies used for wireless mics / radios will be changing soon, making many older radio mic systems unusable. Some of the old frequencies will conflict with 4G phone or tv signals. Some more details here: http://www.shure.co.uk/support_download/frequencies#dso_faq5
  10. Fender Japan vintage pickup actually aren't bad at all. I've tried quite a few tele pickups. I just got a Seymour vintage stack bridge pickup today and it sounds fantastic. Brent Mason uses that pickup too, so it can't be bad.
