FatHand
I have a cassette deck, the motor driver thing isnt working but could be fixable. If you can be bothered to fix it you can have the thing for free. Was going to post it on the freecycle thread, then thought as it wasn't working fully nobody would really want it. It's going in the bin otherwise.

stoney_stu
Make sure you replace the fuse in the shaver adaptor (shaver adaptors are usually 3A whereas you should be using 13A on something like a tape deck). You could just cut it off and replace with a UK style plug surely? Alkaline
You could just cut it off and replace with a UK style plug surely?A fuse is a lot easier for people to replace than a whole plug. Not everyone is comfortable re-wiring things.
Jaaakkkeee
I'll rewire the plug for £40 quid an hour.
Teledeluxe
A old hifi, with turntable, radio and eight track cartridge player. Surely nobody would want it?!
