He has released several solo albums, the latest of which 'Summer Special' was released in August. He also fronted the band Gorky's Zygotic Mynci from 1991 till 2004.Euros is a keen collaborator. In 2011 he teamed up with Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake for the self titled debut album 'Jonny' and most recently with Meilyr Jones of Race Horses for a project called Cousins, their album 'First Cousins' was released back in March on his own National Elf label. When asked what kind of music does he play by taxi drivers or distant relatives Euros replies ''It's pop music with a bit of folk music thrown in, sometimes synthesizers are used, sometimes pianos or guitars. But it's always rock n roll''. http://www.euroschilds.com THE WELLGREEN A blend of sixties songwriting, psychedelia, early powerpop The Wellgreen (ex-BMX Bandit Stuart Kidd and Marco Rea) swear by vintage style recording techniques tomake their records sound classic and timeless. The Wellgreen strip back the live performances to a completely organic two-piece, powered by their signature two part harmony. “From the Smile-era Beach Boys choral harmonies of the opening title track to the closing, timeless ‘Circle’, The Wellgreen are so tuneful it’s swoonful.” - Is This Music? http://thewellgreen.bandcamp.com ADAM STEARNS For Glaswegians and most fans of live music in Scotland, Adam Stearns is not an unfamiliar name. For the past couple years, he and his Glass Animals (Alexis Stearns, Kat McCarron, Andrew Pattie, Stu Kidd and Alasdair C. Mitchell) have played a variety of festivals (Doune the Rabbit Hole, Kelburn Garden Party, Solas Festival) and have supported artists Alasdair Roberts, Lianne La Havas, BMX Bandits, The Raghu Dixit Project, the High Llamas and Remember Remember to name a few. “We like to write popish songs with interesting arrangements. Every song is very different. I suppose you could put it under the category of baroque/folk/pop or kitchen sink pop?” – Peenko http://soundcloud.com/adamstearnsglassanimals

chilli
Euros was wonderful last night & with his band played a lot of solo favourites & even a seminal Gorky's track, however the whole show was stolen by an amazing15min analogue moog physch jam which made the whole place erupt into a wednesday night dance floor mash up for the very healthy turn out & lots ofvery happy people.... kirsten
amazing 15min analogue moog physch jam which made the whole place erupt into a wednesday night dance floor mash upWe saw him last night in Edinburgh and this was a highlight. The whole set was magnificent, though. I know I say this a lot but it makes a gig so much more enjoyable when you can see the band are having such a great time. kirsten
Yeah, the place was pretty packed, probably just over 100 people. Although Euros was claiming onstage that his St Andrews gig only had an audience of 14!
