keeno
You wanted hot so why not a bare knuckle sinner? Don't get much hotter than that. https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/pickups.php?cat=strats⊂=contemporary&pickup=the_sinnerOne on fleabay at the moment .http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STRATOCASTER-BRIDGE-PICKUP-BARE-KNUCKLE-SINNER-/160829121986?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item257229a5c2
Teledeluxe
I tried the Seymour Duncan Lil 59's for both tele and strat, but thought they sounded a bit thin. You could do a lot worse than try a red lace sensor in the bridge position.
Thornybank
Aye, consensus on the 59 is weedy-to-what's-the-point.I will research the JB Jr.TaI might have a Lace lurking in my bottomless box of forgotten bits.Think it was Golds I had, though. Teledeluxe
I tried three gold lace in one of my strats, but the low bass strings were poor on the bridge pickup. I'm very happy with the red Lace bridge pickup though. I've kept the bridge and neck gold lace pickups. Rails are good for bending without losing volume, but I prefer the vintage tone of Alnico 2 magnets. Seymour Duncan SSL-1's are the best I've tried ( as a neck pickup in my Jerry Donahue tele).
