Le Stu
I should really have posted some info on the game.http://dayzmod.com/it's awesome but very, very alpha and it runs on ARMA2 CO which has serious requirements.
Flights
I had a blast of it the other day round my mates and was very impressed. There is no chance my current pc will play it though
Le Stu
yeah same here, I got it just about running on a Q6600 with a Radeon 6870 but it's so sluggish it's unreal. So funny watching noobs running around with 20 zombies chasing them. Moose
It looks incredibly stressful! Such a cool idea for a game though. Shame I'm not a PC gamer.

Gypsum_Fantastic
Anyone playing the standalone version of this, a few guys at work saying it is awesome.
scottyboy
I'm not playing it (yet), but have been intrigued. Cool to see an online, multi-player action game that isn't competitive/e-sports based and more arty/sociological (for want of better words). ZeromiserY
I've just started. Had the mod version and bought the standalone a few days ago. I know this will be sneered at but I'm trying to set up a working xbox control pad setup using xpadder. anyone got any experience or suggestions of a layout? I dont know the actions well enough yet. I want a keyboard/mouse and controller hybrid setup so i can run around, shoot, scavenge etc with the control pad but all the menu based UI actions would be handled with the mouse and keys. are there too many actions for this to be viable? ZeromiserY
and the requirements are very hefty I have an I7 processor, 12GB RAM and a GT640 and it still struggles
