britheguy Posted April 8, 2012 Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 Hi,As it says in the title, I'm an (middle) aging guitarist. I'm looking at making a noise with some likeminded people. Whether it's a new "get together", or joining a formed band it doesn't matter.I do a bit of singing, sometimes good, sometimes not so good depending on the songs etc.Been playing in a rock/punk cover band for the last several years, however this has now ground to a halt, mostly through to lack of gigging due to various band members work/family commitments. Although gigs are important...for a start I'd be happy making a racket.I have my own gear and transport etc, and willing to travel around the NE to complete my deafness.What are those bells and whistles in my head anyway? I have just finished writing a long witty, yet obscene reply to your post, however I feel that would not go down too well...so as I've already wrote...."rock/puck cover band for the last several years" I think it's fair to say it would be that "type" of music I would like to be playing.
