TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
School of Seven Bells on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music DownloadsWhilst I was quite keen on their debut album (I only heard about them from the Secret Machines connection), I never expected the leap forward in quality that is Disconnect from Desire. It's a fantastic meld of dream pop vocals and shoegaze guitars, but with a strong pop sensibility. It is an album that is growing more and more on me, every time one of their new singles comes on 6 Music I want to do a little dance in my lab. I wont, as that will make me look like a mental.Any thoughts on the new album?
Mr Owl PhD
I like it but maybe haven't listened to it enough. That said I was a bit unsure of them from their first album but am definitely keener on this. Good shimmery pop as you say.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
No idea what they're like live, but you can't go wrong with a Walkmen/School of Seven Bells combination!
Monster Zero
I'd been meaning to get round to buying the first album, finally picked it up for a few quid on Play.com the other week, I really like it, although not quite what I expected to be honest, a lot more upbeat than anticipated. No doubt I shall get round to buying the new one eventually.

With The Walkmen though, that's a cracking line up!
Christy
That debut So7B album was an abomination. First Secret Machines was ace, though. And now the other Secret Machines brother has joined Interpol's live band, alongside David Pajo. Small world, this indie rock malarky.
