SLAF came together as five induviduals with a mutual love for the hardcore stylings of US heavyweights like Hopesfall, Page Ninety Nine and Converge and a passion for the weird ambient noise of Mogwai and Sigur Ros. So the intention was simple. Merge the two but, keep an awareness of the more. dare we say pop moments.Like life the band has its beautiful moments only to kick you in the teeth with searing noise then grab you by the ears and drag you to some other ethereal place.Hitting the studio in June with uber producer Ray Tibbets the band are then getting to grips with the touring circuit in July on a co headline tour with Welsh emo/rockers Dopamine.
