stevealex35
I have a (rare!!) 8x8 Ampeg SVT cab at the moment. It has never given me any problems but I just fancy getting one just in case! Ha. Also, a 410 would be slightly easier to transport to gigs n stuff. stevealex35
Its an SVT, and it sounds awesome!! I was worried that it wouldnt have enough bottom end but theres no issue there! I use US jazz bass and ashdown evo head with it and it sounds great

stevealex35
The SVT 410s seem to be going for around 570 at the moment on most websites. A few are doing the B410 for 359! What do they sound like in comparison?Cheers

There's no doubt the SVTs will be better, not sure how much though. What i have found about my cab is that it doesn't handle low end that well. just doesn't seem round enough. could be to do with the head. Kieran_imray
I have an SVT-410HLF but at one gig I went through a B series 410HLF cab (the other dude offered me use of his cab to save me taking my own), it sounded O.K but the SVT is notably nicer.
