Dan G
e-----9-----b----10-----g----13-----d----11-----a-----9-----e------------It plays like an F#minor but with the first three notes in the F#sus2 position... so I guess it would be an F#minor add9. It's a fair stretch but not too tricky. It works better as an arpeggio due to the semi tone interval between the 13 and 10, and has a great tension to it.Go on. Try it. You know you want to... soundian
Try it in the open position and sling in the G on the 6th sometimes instead of the open A. Nice.

That's the ones. Bugger knows what it's called. Sling in the open E as well and use the A,G and E as bass notes, finger picking stylee. And fuck about with relieving the tension by not playing the B string. Works for me.

Dan G
did you intentionally put henry cow and pat metheny next to each other in your listening section (so it reads cow, pat)?
soundian
Tut tut tut Dan, there ain't no 9 in that chord, the B is an A, making it a simple little F#m.

You're not gonna get the dissonance to emphasise this with a right-hand hammer-on.
Danny Doubt
In the Aadd9 earlier try moving ur finger on the G string up an an down frets 2, 3 an 4 playing an arpeggio an u get a little song like a james bond theme. other chords that go well wiv Aadd9:e-----0-----b-----3-----g-----2-----d-----3-----a-----2-----e------------e-----0-----b-----3-----g-----4-----d-----2-----a-----x-----e-----4-----oh an Emaj7
