Alan Cynic
I'd have to admit...I'd still chat Diane up (probably based on a long-time Liver Birds lust).Spot on about Jack....but at least he makes our lives look rivetting:up:
Guest DustyDeviada
Emmerdale? Haven't watched it for about 20 years. Are Amos and Seth still in it?And will The Kitchen Cynics be performing a cover of The Woolpackers' classic "Hillbilly Rock, Hillbilly Roll" anytime soon? Alan Cynic
Sadly Amos and Seth have both passed away (Seth comparatively recently.......I went out and set some rabbit snares in Holburn St in his memory)If we can add Seth Armstrong to the 'Tribute Weekender' at the Lemon Tree in January (Ivor Cutler on the 12th, Syd Barrett/Arthur Lee on the 13th), then I'd consider a Woolpackers cover. In similar style to yourself I haven't watched Coronation St since the Ogdens were on it. I used to enjoy writing poetry inspired by Stan and Hilda as I ate my tea (called myself Ogden Gnash!).
Guest DustyDeviada
Well the Ogdens were good, but I was always more of an Eddie Yates man myself.
psydoll
I haven't seen Emmerdale for aeons! I used to quite enjoy it though. Same with the other soaps but I'd be soundly lost these days.Television takes fourteenth place again to things like music and cutting my toenails these days though
