Not the funniest film ever by a long shot (it doesn't have the constant hysterical laughter caused by Airplane for example) but it is hilarious and has one of the funniest opening scenes. I then watched it on DVD and found it funnier, then funnier again, then funnier again. It's the little subtle bits of dialogue and cameraderie between all the cops that makes it really funny and I think it gets better on every watch. I sadly meow know the whole film off by heart and regularly quote it at appropriate and inappropriate times. It's meow one of my favourite comedies!
