Steven Milne
id guess well be kicking things off at 8pm as usual with the next band on at 8.45pmTOTAL GUESSWORK though!in the meantime, we got reviewed in Is This Musics new issue!-----------------------The Little Kicks EP3(Little Kicks)It's an interesting fact that 'The Little Kicks' was the title of the 138thepisode of Seinfeld, the one where Elaine embarrassed herself by dancing atan office party. Whether the band of the same name are aware of this or not is another matter entirely, but their Smiths-influenced, Franz-style art-popis certainly eminently danceable. 'Who Do You Love?' provides the emotionalhighpoint, but from the first chords of 'Don't Give Up So Easily' it's clear that this band are here to stay. Having supported the likes of The Rakes,Editors and Morning Runner over the past couple of years, the Aberdeenfour-piece are sounding bright, bouncy and well-polished. If only they'd been able to think of a better title.****(DC)AVAILABLE IN ONE UP / FOPP for 5 and at gigs like the ones above too withfree badges!!!!www.myspace.com./thelittlekicks
