Stripey
Just got hold of the new shadow album, it's quite a departure from his past form to say the least. Lots of vocal/rap tracks, crunked up synthy sound, some pretty dark tracks, some pretty moody stuff which harks back to his older material, it's quite a mishmash of styles which is no bad thing. I definately prefer it to his last album anyway, it still exudes the same class and style that he is known for. UK release date is mid-september 2006. Pierre Von Mondragon
Shadow is the one of the pinnacles of Western civilisation as far as I'm concerned. I rated 'The Private Press', but it had a couple of patchy bits. I like it more when he goes raj and raw.
french_disko
Someone needs to get him back to Aberdeen - last time he played here was fucking awesome.
