Trannyvan
Another Wise BassmanTexjam, You made a wise decision when electing to switch to a Schroeder/QSC set up. .I changed over from a Warwick Terminator 1000w cab ( 2x15" bandpass and 2x10" with horn ) and Warwick then EBS top of the range bass amp, to a Schroeder 310212 driven by a QSC PL 2400 and Ampeg SVTPro pre-amp. The Schroeder set up just kicks arse. The tone thru the entire range is full and the bottom end is trouser flapping to say the least. Guitar is a Warwick Streamer 4 string thru neck circa 1996.Happy playing.SWR is a good set up and I can't imagine you should have trouble selling.Mike

Sounded very good. I was initially looking to get a 310212 but got the 410 at a nice price. Mike
Trannyvan
Lemon Tree Sound Left Me FlatMike,Ah yes......the Lemon Tree gig. Quite frankly we were not overly impressed with the quality of the mix or overall sound from the venue system on that gig. The bass guitar was DI'd straight into the house desk and into the FOH mix so the Schroeder was used for stage monitoring only. All because of a bit of hissing ( typical of Ampeg pre-amps )Our own PA Nexo/Turbosound kicks arse on the bottom end and in our view leaves the Lemon Tree FOH for dead. I used the Schroeder at Montrose and will also use it tonight at Newtonhill, and thru our system it is awesome.Neil sends his regards.Mike
