Jim Stax Posted April 27, 2006 Report Share Posted April 27, 2006 ...The T Break Stage has not been responsible for any band 'making it' or 'getting there' or 'doing well'... It is a gig that may give you the opportunity of being more noticed or raising a profile if already creating waves. Any bands mentioned that have gone onto 'better' things will have been half way there and done a great deal of work prior to T in't Park. Yes there is a higher chance of 'someone' popping into the tent than Drummonds or the Tunnels but it is not a given and weather/time dependant. Atom Flask, for example, were doing not bad before, during and after the festival. It got us a Radio 1 lunch time interview and air play but sadly we were unable, or unwilling, to keep up the momentum and therefore imploded as a band, not too long after, with a pleasant little whoomp!
