Dear Friends,

Please feel welcome to attend two performances on Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th involving live electronics, period instruments, and fire.

On Friday the 10th I will be assisted by Patrick Keenan in performing a new work for Harpsichord and live electronics at Peacock Visual Arts. Also performing will be James Wyness on handmade instruments (psaltery) and live electronics. Doors open at 7pm, music promptly at 8pm. Free. For directions to Peacock go here: http://www.peacockvisualarts.co.uk/peacock%20visual%20arts.html

The following evening, on the beach of Footdee I will present a new installation, HARPSICHORD:BURNING starting at 9:30pm. The tide is anticipated to come in at 11:30 and the installation will be coordinated to conclude with its arrival. Free of course, and please bring plenty of friends, warm clothes and hot drink.

Incidentally, artist Colin Kirkpatrick was kind enough to share Peacock's gallery space during his exhibition. Be sure to check out his work while you are there. More information on Colin's work can be found here: http://billthompson.org/Press_release_Puck_2..rtf

Hope to see you there,

Bill Thompson

I take it the harpsichord you plan on burning is the one that is being played before hand? It's fully working etc' date=' worth a fortune?[/quote']

oh, absolutely....

well, at least the part about it being the same instrument from the night before...it all depends on what you mean by 'fully working' and 'fortune' :)
