What sort of software/method do you use to record it on to the computer?

Sound recorder, through the line in, or import/paste and copy from cd??,

Recorded on a 4 track then took the tape to Captain Toms. Tom burned it on to CD with a little bit of compression and thats that!

Im not technical minded so its a bit of a process but I dont really have time to learn how to record on computer all though Im sure it would sound better if it was:cheers:

yep, it sure is

Too far advanced for me, mine still runs valves and a dictaphone...lol!

Maybe you could find a copy of wavelab or cool edit, they are ok for recording with, Ian Simpson did a multitrack cool edit tutorial on AUBL sometime ago which I have looked at a couple of times for reference,

Cool Edit has a great eq set up, I'm sure it would handle files imported from cd, and saves in loads of different formats too,

I think that if you can work a 4track then Cool Edit is eezeepeezee

This site has links 4 software and codes to work them

I'm sure cooledit is on there somewhere..:)
