Porter Posted September 18, 2005 Report Share Posted September 18, 2005 Right, I can give you directions to the Barfly but i've only lived here for two weeks so i'm not 100% sure how to describe it. Basically head down to the river, if you're coming from town, if you cross the river you've gone too far, if not, you're doing great! Its one of the buildings about half way along the river on the right hand side.If you're (for some strange reason) coming from the other side, go past the GCNS, take a left which will be a bridge, cross and go left, its about 10 mins most on foot along the water. Mordred Posted September 18, 2005 Report Share Posted September 18, 2005 is anyone going? and do you need a lift/have spaces in your car?!anyone know exactly where the Barfly is?The Barfly is right opposite the river clyde behind the St Enoch Centre.If you take the turn off for Cathedral on the M8 and follow the road as if your going to the Barra's, instead of turning left at the Clock tower in the centre of the road keep going till you come to Glasgow green.Turn right and follow the Clyde, its on your left just before the Youth Hostel and the Central Station bridge. Alternatively you could come off the M8 at the Secc and turn left following the Clyde that way. The Barfly is on your left just after the Youth Hostel and before the signs for parking at the St Enoch Centre.This way is easier but can be busier with slow moving traffic on the M8.Enjoy the Gig Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
