Flash@TMB
Its the first time I've seen them' date=' heard they were good and wanted to see them and I wasn't dissapointed, didn't I see Dod dancing around the bar? ?([/quote']Seriously they can and usually do do much better. But it was still a decent gig by most standards. A bit like seeing the Dead Kennedys without Jello.
Marsh
On reflection it was a good gig - Definitely nae the same without Dod, but I suppose it was unique in that sense. And if you close your eyes Freddie sounds very similar to Dod.Like you said after the gig Flash, maybe not the best representation of the Toxik sound or live experience to commit to CD, but still an enjoyable, one - off gig. I'm sure when Dod returns and they play again it will be spot on.Where were all the punters, though? And where was Obstacles?Looking forward to the next gig even more than I was Friday's as I know Toxik are still one of the best live bands around and still as important - with added Dodage it can't fail! Flash@TMB
Where were all the punters' date=' though?[/quote']The punters had apparently gotten the word that there would be no Dod. And perhaps combining this with The Supernaut wasn't the best idea ever... The goths all waited until after the gig before they showed.
