INDAFUSION

What is this noise they make?

"Our music is majestic, awesome, trancendental and sometimes strangely soiled? If you want a quote, you may define our music thus: "uber-melodic sci-fi brain-and-rocket pop music!". If you wish to use this vague-yet-appealing phrase, for example, in a review or feature, we ask that you please include the exclamation mark: "!" Thanks!

Here are some bands/artists (in no particular order) that we like to listen to, and may or may not affect our music in a direct/indirect, positive/negative way. This list is in no way comprehensive...

The Boo Radleys, The Who, Television, Hawkwind, The High Llamas, The Beatles, The Ramones, The Pixies, Syd Barret, Radiohead, Stereolab, The Adverts, Add N to X, REM, Iron Maiden, Gong, Sonic Youth, Blur, The Flaming Lips, Rush, Dubstar, Grandaddy, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Rezillos, Clearlake, Led Zeppelin, dEUS, The Beach Boys, Super Furry Animals, Dawn of the Replicants, Eels, Ride, The Rolling Stones, Gene, Yes, Elliot Smith, The Misfits, Simon + Garfunkel, The Dead Kennedys, Steely Dan, Supergrass, Pere Ubu.

We still like to write songs about space travel, architecture, love, society, drinking, turtles, birds, machinery, and what its like to be a European rock band in the 21st Century."

THE FALL OF BOSS KOALA

What is this noise they make?

"The ever evolving Koala has taken many guises over the past three and a bit years, but weve now come together under what we think is our best formation. Our new material is now SOLID. The Fall Of Boss Koala formed in late 2002 in Dundee Scotland. The band worked hard to become noticed locally, gigging and promoting themselves. Eventually news of the 5 piece spread further afield and the band began gigging all over scotland with bands from all over the world.

Influences? CIDER!!!!! Tool, Isis, GY!BE, Mogwai, Sikth, Saetia, Oceansize, Hopesfall, Envy, Pelican, Funeral Diner, Michael Jackson, Will Haven, Red Sparoes, Glassjaw, Deftones, Explosions in the Sky, Aconite Thrill, Mike Kinsella, 27, Cult of Luna, Envy, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, Goats."
