Afro Droid Posted June 29, 2005 Report Share Posted June 29, 2005 Carfax had some pretty good ideas, and Porter's voice is AWESOME, but she needs to get a band than can actually play the tunes. Bass player (Stu?) over-played everything and totally detracted from the songs; and the drummer really needs practice/leasons. A second guitar player wouldn't go amiss either. Went home after them because I was hungry.EDIT: Reading that back it sounds a bit harsh, upshot is: IMO the performance didn't do justice to the material.
