  1. What does one unique pedal cost one young rocker?
  2. I thought it would be a bit if work on the DL4 since there as quite a lot of settings. I'm now looking at the little brother the echo park by line 6, it's half the price but half the features. The boss one looks like a champion if somebody's looking for a simple delay but I've been looking at the DL4 for some time, I don't know why, seems like a decent price for the while settings you get!
  3. The dream would be that I'd have an EXH memory man but I've just checked out a comparison with the Line 6 DL4 and the analogue setting is pretty good! I'm after a delay that will sound pretty U2ish as well; is that achievable on DL4? If it does then I'll have my heart set on a DL4, if not then I'll be back to square one again haha!
  4. That's what I was thinking as well! It's a beast of a pedal and it's not the cheepest of things either! I was looking at a Boss DD-7, then an EHX Memory Boy/Man w/hazarai but 'err'. The carbon copy looks great as as well, a simple to use pedal and it sounds great as well!
  5. I probably have the shittest rig ever! It's not complete yet but I have a: Guitars Vintage VSA535 - cherry Manson Mattocaster replica - silver with gold speck Pedals Digitech whammy 4 Zvex fuzz factory A vintage original crybaby Amp A simple Orange 20LDX I'm looking at growing my pedal board but there is so much out there I don't have a clue what to go for (and at a decent price!) My Wishlist Zvex seek wah/ooh wah Line 6 dl4 or what do you recommend? Either an ibanez ts9 or a fulltone OCD (which one!?) Boss octave pedal Some sort of phaser
  6. How much for your big muff then? Always wanted to get one of those big beefy muffs! Haha
  7. Not quite what I was after, mate. Hahaha! Is it in good condition? And scruffs/chips?
  8. I don't get it either! Some LP's look that part, the sound is right up my street but I'm a weak guy, so I think the SG's are much preferred, although the shape is 'err', I'm looking into an Epiphone Wilshire. Has anyone played one? Fenders I can't get my head around. The feel and playability is great, everybody should have a strat, telecasters, I've got one for sale at the moment and it's nice on sustain but the twang isn't my cup of tea. I play a vintage VSA535 and I highly recommend it. It's my go to guitar! The Epiphone dot is made in the same factory as Vintage guitars and slightly cheeper. It's different, gets a lot of people asking what it is on my youtube covers.
  9. How much are you after for the memory man? Brett
  10. Hey, sorry I forgot to reply! If you've still got the p-90 for sale, I can collect it now! I think I've already got that model (it's getting repaired) I can have a look at that aswell! Brett
  11. Hey, have you got any pictures of it? Brett
  12. Hey, have you still got the phase 90 available and which model of cry baby is it?
  13. The title says what's on the tin, is there anybody who can turn a plant of wood into a shredding monster?
  14. Yeah, haha. You can tell I've not touched the pedal on a while! Yeah the switch at the front doesn't push down (I've noticed there's a little cotton patch that's been stuck down, the little leaver you see that allows you to move the pedal up and down is pretty gunky, it sounds superb but I could do with somebody that's pedal minded to help me bring it back to life! How much do you want for the service, Paul G?
  15. Hi, to start things off, I'll tell you folks a little bit about myself first! I play guitar and a bit of keyboard, I've been playing the axe for about 8 years now and the keyboard thing has been recently (a year and a bit). After many attempts on starting a band of my own, they have all crumbled and I've been stranded in many situations. I'm looking to join a current band (anything I'm up for it!) seeking a guitarist or start a band up, I work full time which had been pretty hard with the whole band jamming, people dropping out, gigging is what I want to do until the day I die so I'm pretty serious and will commit to anything. I'm into pretty much anything (except from that pish you hear on the radio (everybody in the club with ma' drink t-bagging this bitch with ma' finga' on tha' trigga'' bullsh*t!) or anything that your mothers listen to. Don't get me started on chart music... I've got facebook if you wanted to connect via the social networking world, I've got an email address for all you traditionalists which is brettthain@gmail.com or give me a text 07860 346502. As I said, I'm up for anything, I'm not a music snob either, I like all kinds of music (except from that manufactured shit!). Cheers for looking!
  16. What it is, I have a digitech whammy (4th gen) and a cry baby and they have in need of a fix up. I bought the digitech whammy off of somebody on eBay saying it is 'I'm perfect working order' but most if the effects don't seem to work and once I stomp down on the pedal, you instantly get that scuffled octave sound. I've had a read up and once the pedal up all the way up, you can play as you normally do (let's say through a clean channel on your amp) then push down the pedal and get the pitch shifter. The cry baby is properly f*****! It was a hand down from my uncle and the springs gone on it, you haft to use your finger inside of the pedal to turn it on, the whammy itself works fine. If there's anybody who is handy with gear, please let me know (of course I'll pay for the repairs!).
