  1. To come back to this, you can get a better PC on overclockers for cheaper, check out this one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-023-OG&groupid=43&catid=2475&subcat=2487

Cheers man, hugely appreciated, seems like that deal was pretty poor. The graphics card is one designed for office stuff, not really gaming, so it wont really do what i wanted and apparently the cooler could not cope with the processor if it was under a heavy load.

  2. Are you looking for guidance on components in the first instance, or going straight to the actual building part? I imagine there are enough gaming/IT heads on here to help you out with advice for parts, budgeting etc.

Really someone who can help me the whole way. I have an idea of what i want inside it, but buying the parts, and putting them together is what i really need help with. Best places to go to get them cheaply and obviously having the thing put together well. Just not something i have any experience with. I was going to buy a decent laptop, but the costs are so high i would be better just building a new desktop.

  3. Where is best to go to get a PC built now Sir Knight has retired?

Looking to get a new gaming PC built, but i have limited knowledge of it all and need the right guidance. I was going to go to NE Peripherals, but they seem very expensive.

  4. Aye so Serbia and Albania finished in an interesting way last night. Apparently the Albainian prime ministers brother flew a drone with an offensive flag over the pitch, which resulted in some of the Serbian players running onto the pitch with deck chairs and all hell broke out.

Just another friendly eastern european game of football.

  5. Yeah but that's not really what I'm saying. I agree that yes, in a broader sense (ie the general public) you are 100% correct. In MM's situation I am making the point that he might come across as uncommitted or have a poor work ethic due the circumstances around him leaving school.

I'm just making the point that he's going to have to think about a counter argument should they question his reasons for leaving, and the impact that may have on his chances of getting any of the positions he has applied for.

Does leaving school really give an impression of a poor work ethic?

Anyway i got my job off the back of admitting i flunked Uni, only lasted 6 months, had job hopped for a while and had a gap of a few years with no work to mention. Work ethic is not a huge thing now a days, its what your able to bring to the company that they care far more about now a days.
