To come back to this, you can get a better PC on overclockers for cheaper, check out this one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-023-OG&groupid=43&catid=2475&subcat=2487
Cheers man, hugely appreciated, seems like that deal was pretty poor. The graphics card is one designed for office stuff, not really gaming, so it wont really do what i wanted and apparently the cooler could not cope with the processor if it was under a heavy load.

Now the length of your hair can apparently prevent you from learning properly,

And a brilliant band to go and watch.

Lambert must be gutted, he has gone from first choice, almost undroppable and in the England squad to warming the bench for a team who's only other fit striker is, well Mario.
-
Been hanging around doc Brown too much.
-
He is Colb, i thought that was obvious?

Hang on, nothing is inevitable, especially not dying of a rare disease or by a terrorist group thousands of miles away.

Compared with a squirrel a plastic bag is really bad for the environment.
Thats the best kind of internet logic!

I cant believe people still go for their shopping without taking bags with them. I've done so for the past two years i think.

As long as it runs FM, right?
Aye but on full graphics so i can see all the new animations

Cheers guys!! Much appreciated.
Ebay is something i hadnt thought about for buying a computer, the one in the link is about the range i wanted as well, maybe a bit over what i wanted actually.

Are you looking for guidance on components in the first instance, or going straight to the actual building part? I imagine there are enough gaming/IT heads on here to help you out with advice for parts, budgeting etc.
Really someone who can help me the whole way. I have an idea of what i want inside it, but buying the parts, and putting them together is what i really need help with. Best places to go to get them cheaply and obviously having the thing put together well. Just not something i have any experience with. I was going to buy a decent laptop, but the costs are so high i would be better just building a new desktop.

Where is best to go to get a PC built now Sir Knight has retired?
Looking to get a new gaming PC built, but i have limited knowledge of it all and need the right guidance. I was going to go to NE Peripherals, but they seem very expensive.

Aye so Serbia and Albania finished in an interesting way last night. Apparently the Albainian prime ministers brother flew a drone with an offensive flag over the pitch, which resulted in some of the Serbian players running onto the pitch with deck chairs and all hell broke out.
Just another friendly eastern european game of football.

You will have zero chance im afraid.
You have to be part of the Tartan Army supporters club, and i would imagine that game will sell out very easily.
Better chance of getting into the Ireland side i would have thought.

Strange of TNT to lose something, they are normally very good.

Double bass?

I can't believe this has turned into ripping into Didier because he gave Moon Moon some (good) advice based on his experiences. lol
Who's ripping into anyone?

Yeah but that's not really what I'm saying. I agree that yes, in a broader sense (ie the general public) you are 100% correct. In MM's situation I am making the point that he might come across as uncommitted or have a poor work ethic due the circumstances around him leaving school.
I'm just making the point that he's going to have to think about a counter argument should they question his reasons for leaving, and the impact that may have on his chances of getting any of the positions he has applied for.
Does leaving school really give an impression of a poor work ethic?
Anyway i got my job off the back of admitting i flunked Uni, only lasted 6 months, had job hopped for a while and had a gap of a few years with no work to mention. Work ethic is not a huge thing now a days, its what your able to bring to the company that they care far more about now a days.

Aye Oceaneering just laid off some staff in Aberdeen, only to hire new staff in another contract, its the way it works at times.
Im glad Grayloc is not 100% tied into the O&G sector which means our jobs are more secure in the long run.
-
Yeah Aberdeen has its own wee bubble at times, some companies are paying people off, but others in the same field are taken them on almost immediately. As Col says it really depends what you do.
Lower level employment im not really sure (i dont mean that in a derogatory manor at all btw)
