Pretty sure I cry every time I hear Snow Patrol, regardless of which song it is.

That's the exact stretch of PRW I live by. It truly is the absolute pits.
Also, the fucking littering here? Just the whole of Glasgow? I know it's not the only place in the world with litter but it's just everywhere.
Aye, I'm in Pollokshields and the litter is pretty dire at times. Bulk uplift ever Friday is handy, but folk take the piss. There's also loads of mess around most of the spice shops.

Zanres in Mintlaw was the best Zanres. Can’t believe we used to get a full fish supper for lunch. Was either that or chips and cheese from chalmers bakery. I wonder if kids are still as unhealthy as in my day? The amount of utter shite I’d shovel into my face at school.
Mars and coke vending machine in the cafeteria - or Ribena if you fancied some fruit.
I used to get a massive sausage roll from the garage most days.

My only ever visit to Fraserburgh was a football away trip where it pissed with rain for 90 minutes (no cover), lost in injury time and froze to death waiting to get home. Apart from Govan or Grangetown I've never seen a more depressing place. (EDIT: Greenock, maybe. Shivers.)
Don't blame the Broch for bad weather and your team losing!
The Broch started going downhill when Jim's Plaice became Zanre's.

Ah, the Broch. Told (bitched about) this story on here before I'm sure, but: when I was a student a couple of police detectives (so no uniforms; my massive flatmate, who was playing playstation in the wee hours like a regular student, damn near attacked them) climbed through our window in the middle of the night (they rang the bell, but no sane person answers a doorbell in student accommodation in the dead of night).
I was woken up by the whole thing, and the guy they were looking for shared a first name with me (and the first name was all I got). After several minutes of very confusing (to me) questions about abandoned cars and gods know what else, and them getting "uh, no" from me, they double checked the full name. Which wasn't me. (they then angrily told me to "wake up"; I replied "I just did", at a ludicrous time of their choosing).
Anyway, the /coolstory is that the guy they were looking for (who previously lived there) was from the Broch. So I for one hold the place in high esteem.
Was it Thomas Blake Glover? He was from Fraserburgh too.

At least we had the best pies and ice cream.

Total Sportek ended up working fine once the main event started, weirdly...
I did also have a scan on Reddit, but couldn't find anything. I'll maybe investigate this avenue in advance next time. Cheers!
Bloody good fecht though!

Anyone know of a free live stream of the Joshua fight tonight?

Confession - After living off Paisley Road for three years I'm no longer a Rangers fan. You were all right, they're a bunch of total cunts.
I'm moving back to Aberdeen shortly.
That stretch of Paisley Road with the Nacho Lounge etc. is like the anus of Glasgow.

Selling this bad boy for £550
Beautiful, all original - as far as I know - US strat from 2009.
There's a couple of minor cosmetic dings on the body, but otherwise in excellent condition.
Sounds amazing and plays even better.Based in Glasgow Southside and not looking for any trades.
Cheers!

Grouse & Irn Bru was a fairly popular tipple in The Broch.

Well Done to everyone sitting at zero points. We can do this!

Finally got round to listening to IDLES properly. Buckets of attitude.

Askreddit's a pretty good shout.

That explains it all then.

Any decent reddit recommendations for general procrastination?

I found it pretty boring to start with too, but the trailers do make it look worth persevering with...

It's about time that we had proper cross border leagues.
And half time multi-ball.

I finished 'The Evenings', by Gerard Reve, yesterday.
Nice bit of Dutch, post war dark humour. Wouldn't mind reading it again in a year or so.

Haha.

I could never make up my mind if Arrested Development or Curb was the best comedy ever written.
Has a song ever made you cry?
