Damn - I love Rage to death, but that is one TERRIBLE piece of album artwork!

I don't agree with the death penalty full stop. But in this case it's even worse - it seems like a ploy by the Chinese to test our government. They wanted that man dead, simply to see how strong our reaction would be. I'm betting if they get away with this, it will psychologically open the door for the Chinese to get away with more without fear of retribution. Which of course makes the fact they took a man's life cruel, calculating and callous. Of course, I could be wrong - but that doesn't change the fact that what they did is disgusting.

Sorry to bump the thread - but did anyone else think the flying helicopter things were exactly the same as the flying terminators from the first two terminator films? I mean come on Mr Cameron, use some imagination... Great film though, I think.

For band influenced by Rage Against the Machine, the Clash et al. We're not looking to sound like any one particular band, but they would be good starting points. I am also a big fan of Guns n' Roses and Muse, for example. Left wing political views would be nice, but not essential! Let me know if interested.

I heard about this a while ago. At first I thought it was heresy - but I suppose if anyone can pull it off, it's the Flaming Lips. Have you heard any of it?
