  1. I'm pretty sure it's actually Sebastian Rochford, miss out the "a", and anyone who is happy to tour with Pete Doherty loses all respect with me. ha ha Tomas
  2. These players probably won't mean anything to most people, but are my heroes who I have met. I have been at, met and tutored at classes and clinics by names such as Thomas lang, Stanton Moore, Mark Schulman, JoJo Mayer, Chad Smith and Steve White to name a few of my favourites! Tomas
  3. Ha Ha, this is a funny thread. However I shall have my say, obviously I have not been in town much lately so this can only be my opinion. Patrick Kunka who I believe is from Aberdeen is certainly the youngest and most talented drummer to come from here lately, and without any shadow of a doubt will become the best all round drummer to come from here, and in time probably the UK, he is already that good. Dave Inness and Stuart Ritchie are both fantastic players, Stuart in particular is a big player on the national jazz scene. But Dave, stop stealing Steve Smith's licks. ha ha Players who I have seen over the years in local venues who have impressed are, Colin Fraser from the old band Palace is very good, Tunk from ABDC and a few other bands I have seen play but don't know there names is a very solid and consistent rock player and probably the best rock player i have seen in town, Bill Kemp is an amazing old school Jazz player who I could watch all day, and there was a big band player called Graeme Spry who was also exceptional, although i haven't seen him play since I got back in town. Sorry Frosty Jack, I never noticed this message last night. But maybe now we should concentrate on the English, not only shall it improve mine, but will also save everyone getting lost in our messages. LOL

  6. It's very intense, but very educatonal, was an incredible experience. Question is what to do now I have my Degree. It seems an incredibly competitive business Tomas
  7. This wasn't quite what I expected to find on this site, but can I just remind everyone football is just a game And since I have no real preference and I'm in Aberdeen, I shall make myself an Aberdeen fan. However, if that is against anyone who may give me some work, I can support what ever team you want. Tomas
  8. Thank you. Maybe you can keep me right on this site then Tomas
  9. Good day Aberdeen Music, my name is Tomas Kubtz, I am a drummer who has recently returned to Aberdeen after spending 3 years studying at Drumtech in London. I just thought I'd introduce myself as I may be in Town for a little time. Also wanted to say before anyone else did, yes if you put an N in my surname rather than a B, it spells Kuntz. And yes, I may be Polish, but before anyone says it, I do not stay in Torry. I've heard it all before. I hope to have a good laugh with people on this site. if my English is poor at any time, sue me. Tomas
