ok, dates available are: 7th march, 25th july, 1st,8th and 15 august, 17th oct, 14th nov, 5th dec p.s the other thread was for additional nights for new, young bands..
Hey to all... Beluga still got quite a few dates available for next year, so we are looking a couple of bands (cover or not) to do gigs there. It's for saturday nights, usually 10pm 'til 12.30 or 1am... If you know one you could recommend or you're in a band yourself- please let us know.. Cheers, Laura
We don't charge folk to come in, but the band will get paid whatever is agreed. in the venue tables at the back get moved away (tables from beside the kitchen) every sat which gives heaps of space...
I might sound really silly here, but I'll ask anyway... I heard ab/dc have called it a day... (my ex is good friends with scotty)... then I heard that they haven't... what's actually happening?
If you are still looking or the same happens again- get in touch. We still got quite a few dates available. p.s a bit off-topic: can someone recommend a band (cover or not) that we could ask (very nicely of course) to perform in our venue? Cheers
I know this message is a bit accient, but yeah, citrus theory are good... Heather is stunning with an absolutely incredible voice.. She is on vocals and Pmac is on vocals and guitar.. You can check them out here /// The website of Aberdeen guitarist Paul Mackie ///
This is the deal: Bar Beluga is looking for something new and fresh... 1. are you in a band and got together recently? 2. need some advertising? 3. want to perform and let people know about your band? if any of these were 'yes' Beluga wants to hear from you. As some of you might know, Beluga's got a different band on every saturday, but we will be doing special nights just for you guys. Aberdeen needs new bands, and we know they are definately out there... So if you want to do a gig at Beluga, atvertise yourself and be heard- get in touch... Laura
it depends on taste... i can't argue with that, but... being a huge fan of paul weller i'll stick to my guns its not everyone's cup of tea, that's for sure
